Dark Side Adept
rdfs:comment
Dark Side Adepts were Force-sensitives who used the dark side, but were not full Sith. They typically served Sith as advisors or royal guards, but were not considered Sith themselves. They were also not as strong with the Force as Sith were. Dark Side Adept was a generic term to describe any Force-sensitive individual in the Galactic Empire other than Palpatine and Darth Vader, the two Sith. None of the Dark Side Adepts were Sith; Palpatine held on to the Sith code of only two. Instead, the Dark Side Adepts were Force-talented users who received training by the Sith (but were not privy to Sith Order teachings) or other Dark Side Adepts, or were Dark Jedi, having already received training from the Jedi Order or other institutions. The Dark Side Adept was released in 2005 with the Revenge of the Sith set. A Dark Side Adept was someone with the power to use the dark side of the Force. They were often steeped in the lore of the dark side and opposed to those who used the light side, such as Jedi. While all Sith were Dark Side Adepts, the term was not exclusive to them, as non-Sith individuals such as the Grand Inquisitor were considered Dark Side Adepts as well.

Dark Side Adepts were Force-sensitives who used the dark side, but were not full Sith. They typically served Sith as advisors or royal guards, but were not considered Sith themselves. They were also not as strong with the Force as Sith were. The Dark Side Adept was released in 2005 with the Revenge of the Sith set. The Dark Side Adept's position in the Empire was separate from the Imperial chain of command; they existed outside of it, serving only the Emperor. Various groups collectively made up the Dark Side Adepts. The highest ranking group was the Inquisitorius. They were followed by the Secret Order of the Empire, the Emperor's Hands, the Dark Side Elite, the Emperor's Reach, Emperor's Voice, the Emperor's Eyes, several members of the Imperial Royal Guard, and various Imperial Dark Jedi. With the fall of Emperor Palpatine, the Sith Rule of only two changed. No one can be quite certain when this change happened, however by the time Emperor Valak ascended the throne, multiple apprentices were being trained in more than how to wield the Dark Side of the Force but in the principles and teachings of the ancient Sith Order as well.
