"Marl's father was a mechanic working as an independent contractor and that is where the young man first discovered an aptitude for space flight. From there Jace never looked back. It wasn't until the Sixth Battle of Coruscant that he became energized and convinced that he had a place in the war. Developing a kind of pattern, Marl received a commission to fly for the New Republic StarOps and he's never looked back. An overwhelming desire to prove himself as a hot-shot compared to the other pilots lead him to train and prepare to be an A-Wing pilot."@en . . "Falcon 8"@en . "fair"@en . An overwhelming desire to prove himself as a hot-shot compared to the other pilots lead him to train and prepare to be an A-Wing pilot. Jace has been described as cocky, arrogant, egotistical and at times incredibly annoying. He's convinced that he's right more than one hundred percent of the time and has proven difficult to work with on several occasions. Having said that, people always seem to have nice things to say about him. He's never intentionally cruel, his kindness and friendliness showing through his arrogant exterior. There is no doubt that Marl is a clever individual but continued reinforcement of that throughout his life lead to a slightly over-sized ego."@en . .
