The Draco III Campaign was a week-long series of engagements in 2545 during the Human-Covenant War. Two early tactical victories by the Covenant effectively denuded the planet of its defenses; Covenant forces subsequently massacred the civilian populace. The brutal mass murder did not go unnoticed, however, and United Nations Space Command forces quickly deployed against the Covenant, inflicting major losses on both ground and space forces.
