The following are characters or concepts not used in the crossover despite its events taking place after their games of introduction. Mega Man X, known in Japan as Rockman X (ロックマンX Rokkuman Ekkusu) or simply known as X for short, is the main character of the Mega Man X sub-series and an alternate incarnation of the classic Mega Man. He appears in Super Smash Flash as a playable character. Though initially meant to "return" in some way, he was replaced with the original Mega Man in Super Smash Flash 2. Mega Man X (known as Rockman X in Japan), otherwise simply known as X, is the eponymous protagonist of the Mega Man X series by Capcom. He is making his debut as a playable character in the upcoming Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. The game was released on the SNES first in 1994, then ported to the PC in 1995. It was produced by Tokuro Fujiwara, the director and producer of nearly all the early Mega Man Classic games. It was remade in 2006 as Mega Man Maverick Hunter X (Rockman Irregular Hunter X in Japan), for the PlayStation Portable. The game was re-released on January 10, 2006 as part of the Mega Man X Collection for the Nintendo GameCube and the PlayStation 2. In addition, the SNES PAL version of this game is published by Nintendo, instead of by Capcom. Mega Man X (born Superior M. Light) was a robot created by Dr. Light to replace Mega Man after he exploded due to consuming a glass of water. Mega Man's Artificial Idiocy was much to simple for Dr. Light's desires, so X's cognitive process was a replica of a human's. While X was innovative, Dr. Light thought that the 21st century wasn't the right time to release X to the world as he couldn't possibly compete with Apple. So, X was hidden away in a capsule for 100 years. Mega Man X is a secondary character in "Bob and George". X is the greatest creation of Dr. Light. X first appeared when Mega Man attempted to retrieve Bass from the past. X went back in time with Mega Man to the events of the second game. While Mega Man refought the Robot Masters, X helped Dr. Light in the lab by cleaning up, and attempting to repair the Mega Man of the past. X was recently activated in the present. However, he became the annual villain when he tried to assimilate everyone in order to have friends. Mega Man X was the SNES spinoff of the classic Mega Man series that began a new X series for the popular fighting robot. MMX missed out on the Game Contest of 2004 due to nomination split, but fans are determined to get it into the next Game Battle, as it should have a good chance of being the most popular of all the MM titles. Mega Man X, usually referred to simply as X, is the eponymous hero of the Mega Man X series. The successor to the original Mega Man and Dr. Light's Magnum Opus, he was designed to be able to have completely free will to bridge the worsening relations between humans and robots. Dr. Cain, the archeologist who discovered X's capsule, attempted to further this dream by creating a line of robots based on X's design, making X the proverbial father of all Reploids. Unfortunately, the noble Maverick Hunter Commander Sigma went rogue after being infected by the Maverick Virus contained within Zero's capsule, forcing X to take to the battlefield to defend humans and Reploids from the ever-growing threat. Zero has two palettes in the ROM that aren't used in-game at all. Presumably they are for some kind of charging effect. In the final game, his head crystal glows to indicate charging. Mega Man X, or Rockman X in Japan, commonly called "X", is the main protagonist of the Mega Man X series. X also serves as a guide during the Mega Man Zero series and appears as Model X in the Mega Man ZX series. He is the successor of the original Mega Man and is Dr. Thomas Light's greatest creation. Throughout the X series, X is a Maverick Hunter who fights alongside his partners Zero and Axl in order to maintain peace and stability in the world and protect humans and Reploids alike from Maverick Reploids, though X would like nothing better than the opportunity to stop fighting. Because of his aversion to violence, X is initially ranked a B-Class Hunter, but he is eventually promoted to S-Class. Mega Man X may refer to: * Mega Man X (character) * Mega Man X (video game)

X was found in the 22nd century by some old dude named Dr. Cain. Cain thought that X was the baddest dude in town so he invited him over to meet his family. During dinner, X demonstrated his most significant technical superiority over Mega Man, being able to drink water. Dr. Cain brought up the idea of designing robots based on X's complex design, and so he did. These robots were named Reploids and they would forever continue war on Earth. Good job Light, you ruined everything. Zero has two palettes in the ROM that aren't used in-game at all. Presumably they are for some kind of charging effect. In the final game, his head crystal glows to indicate charging. Mega Man X, usually referred to simply as X, is the eponymous hero of the Mega Man X series. The successor to the original Mega Man and Dr. Light's Magnum Opus, he was designed to be able to have completely free will to bridge the worsening relations between humans and robots. Because of his aversion to violence, X is initially ranked a B-Class Hunter, but he is eventually promoted to S-Class. X is the first robot to possess sophisticated technology and behavioral adaptation, based on the last design of Dr. Light. Dr. Cain, the scientist who found him, was never able to fully analyze X's internal systems and system code. Despite this, Cain was able to replicate X's general architecture, making X the precursor to each and every Reploid brought into production. This makes him the proverbial 'father' of the Reploids. Though X and Zero are technically not Reploids, as they are the first of their kind, they are known as Reploids to reduce confusion. Mega Man X was the SNES spinoff of the classic Mega Man series that began a new X series for the popular fighting robot.
