rdfs:comment
Net Ghost PiPoPa(ネットゴーストPIPOPA(ピポパ)Netto Gōsuto Pipopa) is a Japanese anime series by Studio Hibari. It premiered on TV Tokyo on April 6, 2008. A manga version is also serialized in Kerokero Ace. It is also released in America in subbed form from December 2008 on Crunchyroll as Web Ghost PiPoPa. A spin-off game entitled Net Ghost PiPoPa: PiPoPa×DS@Big Adventure!!!(ネットゴーストPIPOPA ピポパ×DS@ダイボウケン!!!Netto Gōsuto PIPOPA Pipopa × DS Dai Bouken!!!) was also released for the Nintendo DS. Pipopa is an onomatopoeia of computer beeps. But it's not all fun and games. Within the technology company "Dream Future" are dark plans involving the mysterious Seiren project. And even when that plotline ends, Yuta and his friends suddenly find themselves having to save the net world on a regular basis. Crunchyroll has released legal subs of all 51 episodes under the title "Web Ghosts Pi Po Pa", along with a few other translation oddities. The last episode ends with a small Sequel Hook but whether it will lead to anything has not been announced yet. This show provides examples of:

But it's not all fun and games. Within the technology company "Dream Future" are dark plans involving the mysterious Seiren project. And even when that plotline ends, Yuta and his friends suddenly find themselves having to save the net world on a regular basis. Crunchyroll has released legal subs of all 51 episodes under the title "Web Ghosts Pi Po Pa", along with a few other translation oddities. The last episode ends with a small Sequel Hook but whether it will lead to anything has not been announced yet. This show provides examples of: * Berserk Button (Don't call us Pi Po Pa!) * Brain Uploading: A key premise of the series, but particularly played straight with the Dream Future branch leaders, who are portrayed as nothing but boxes outside of the net. * Disney Death (what happens to at least three Net Ghosts) * Haunted Technology * I Know You Are in There Somewhere Fight * Instant AI, Just Add Water (almost exactly like the backstory of Digimon, in which the sentient Ghosts simply evolve from within the Net as soon as the Net is allowed to flourish) * Monster of the Week (The format for the second half of the series.) * Older Alter Ego * Pride (Mamoru's weakness) * Save Both Worlds (The villains know that events in the web world can have a affect the real one.) * Sequel Hook * To Be a Master (To become great Net Ghosts) * The Internet Is for Porn (Generally averted since it's a kids show but there is a little Parental Bonus.) * Villain with Good Publicity (Dream Future's president) Net Ghost PiPoPa(ネットゴーストPIPOPA(ピポパ)Netto Gōsuto Pipopa) is a Japanese anime series by Studio Hibari.
