Briar Rose - postać występująca w Fable, Bohaterka, absolwentka Gildii Bohaterów.
Briar Rose is an Everafter princess, commonly known as Sleeping Beauty. She was once married to William Charming, who was the one to wake her from the sleeping spell that she is famous for. Before her death, Briar was dating Jacob Grimm and ran a coffee shop with her two fairy godmothers. She was killed by a dragon during a rescue attempt in book 7, The Everafter War. Jacob was devastated as he was about to ask her to marry him, and planned revenge against the Sheriff of Nottingham and the Queen of Hearts.
Briar Rose came from a noble background, but her family fell on hard times when she was a child. Her mother died in an accident Briar could not have prevented, and her father cast her out for not doing anything to stop her mother's death. She was left alone and had to fend for herself, but eventually joined the Heroes' Guild. She found in books the companionship she always longed for as a child. She is more of a scholar than a fighter, and relies more on intelligence and Skill rather than physical strength.
Princess Briar Rose, also known as Sleeping Beauty, is a major character in Beyond the Woods.
At some point, Maleficent puts the Queen Briar Rose under a sleeping curse for unknown reasons, but once she is awaken by true loves kiss, via King Stefan, Maleficent falls into a depression, and even loses her ability to turn into a dragon. Stefan and Briar Rose have a daughter together, which they name Aurora, and she grows up, soon falling in love with a prince by the name of Phillip; their wedding is eventually announced. Maleficent eventually returns for revenge, but instead of killing Briar Rose and Stefan like she originally intended to, she instead puts Aurora under the same sleeping curse her mother was put under, devastating them. ("Enter the Dragon")
Briar Rose was the second wife of Prince Charming. She is extremely wealthy but any prick on her finger leads to a long sleep that can only be broken by a kiss from a prince who genuinely loves her. It also sends everyone around her into a sleep. One time, she was awoken by a police dog named Prince. She must wear gloves all the time to prevent getting pricked. In the 1960's Briar Rose was the songwriter and guitarist for an all girls band called the "Dirty Birds"
Presumably an energy-attack recorded in her indigo Bible of Silver Cross, Curren generates a wide area of metallic thorns from the ground, with the ability of mana-interruption, to blockade the area or to attack/capture the opponents.
