Summer solstice Summer Solstice
rdfs:comment
The summer solstice is a natural phenomenon that occurs in a hemisphere's summer season when the sun reaches its highest position in the sky, making it the longest day of the year in that hemisphere. As the solstice approaches, the natural world and the Spirit World grow closer together, blurring the line between the two; consequently, the summer and winter solstices are the easiest times for people to enter the Spirit World. The Summer Solstice is a Rathillien holiday. The Summer Solstice (usually on or near June 21st in the Northern Hemisphere) is one of the Sabbats. It marks the longest day, when the sun – and therefore all solar deities – are at the height of their power. This article is a stub. You can help WikiPagan by [ expanding it]. The summer solstice is the summertime meeting between the Greek gods of Olympus. The summer solstice is the longest day of the year and is when the Greek gods magic/powers are at their strongest. It occurs every year on June 21st, and is when the Tropic of Cancer is closest to the sun. Summer Solstice is a Summer event introduced in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. The event marks the longest day of the year, in which the weather is sunny throughout the day, and remains so during the night, and the sun doesn't set. This phenomenon is known as the Midnight sun. A face cut-out board, fit for two players and featuring a field of sunflowers, appears next to Isabelle in the town plaza, if there's an event on the plaza, Isabelle will be in the front of the town hall. Despite the constant sunlight, nighttime bugs still appear. In addition, the Island has separate weather from the town and so appears dark at night, rather than having extended daylight.

When speaking to the player, Isabelle will say "Hello, Mayor! Today is the Summer Solstice, so don't expect to see the moon at all tonight!" (Other dialogue available in the dialogue section). She will also give the player a pair of ladder shades. Isabelle remains in the town plaza whilst the event is running, therefore leaving the town hall and its functions inaccessible for the day. Throughout the Summer Solstice, Isabelle can be seen wearing a sky blue T-shirt with a sunflower pattern on it. The Summer Solstice is a Rathillien holiday. The Summer Solstice (usually on or near June 21st in the Northern Hemisphere) is one of the Sabbats.
