Akai
rdfs:comment
Akai is a policeman at a substation in Azabu-Juuban. He has anger management issues and in order to take control of his anger, he requires pills called "Amitan 2000". Sawa's assassinations are famous among the police for her use of special bullets that explode inside the body after piercing the skin. Eventually, Sawa meets a fellow assassin named Oburi, who is of a similar age, Sawa comes to Oburi's rescue again but is captured by Akai and Kanie. Akai appears to decide that just killing Oburi isn't enough, and he and Kanie force Oburi to watch Akai rape Sawa. When Kanie drags Oburi off afterward, Akai tells Sawa he's impressed with the depth of her plan to kill Oburi, saying that he almost believed her act. She reminds me of some sort of plant or tree or berry. She's still totally awesome, though. Akai (赤い, Akai) is a kunoichi of Sunagakure and the twin sister of Kiro. A manufacturer of electronic music instruments and other music gear, as well as (historically) consumer electronics and appliances. Akai started in Singapore in 1930, manufacturing radios. After WWII, it expanded its line of audio equipment, making tuners audio amplifiers, and tape recorders. Many Akai products were sold under the names "Roberts" and "Tensai" in North America and Europe. Akai Professional continues in business today, marketing a wide variety of music products including synths, drum machines, DJ equipment, studio gear, and its EWI line of breath controllers. Akai (赤井 Akai), otherwise known as the Cactus Orphnoch (カクタスオルフェノク Kakutasu Orufenoku), is one of the three bounty hunters sent to take back the Faiz Gear. Akai is an impulsive partner of Midorikawa who intercepts Keitaro with the Faiz Gear. Taking the belt from Keitaro, Akai uses the Faiz Gear to backstab Midorikawa before going after Takumi and company. But with the Auto Vajin's aid, Takumi regains the Faiz Gear and kills the Cactus Orphnoch with the Crimson Smash. Akai (surname) is a teacher at the Sakuragaoka High School. The teacher was mentioned in the episode Freshman Reception!, when the school's students informed themselves about their new classes. Akai was mentioned to be the homeroom teacher of one class, much to the discouragement of one student, which could mean Akai is not very popular at the school. nominal form of akarih

n17:abstract
A manufacturer of electronic music instruments and other music gear, as well as (historically) consumer electronics and appliances. Akai started in Singapore in 1930, manufacturing radios. After WWII, it expanded its line of audio equipment, making tuners audio amplifiers, and tape recorders. Many Akai products were sold under the names "Roberts" and "Tensai" in North America and Europe. In 1984, the company established Akai Professional to enter the electronic music business. Its first product was the well-regarded AX80 analog synth, an eight-voice polyphonic synth with two VCOs per voice, and based on the Curtis 3372. Derivative models AX60 and AX73 soon followed. The next year, Akai introduced its first sampler, the S612. This was a very basic model, but more advanced models soon followed, and by the early 1990s Akai's samplers dominated the market. Many musicians still think of Akai mainly as a manufacturer of samples, and the sample disk storage formats used by the S1000 and following models became a de facto industry standard that is still recognized and processed by many workstations and sample-processing soft synths. Through the 1990s, Akai expanded its product line with a series of drum machines and sequencers. Unfortunately, the parent company's finances collapsed in 1999 when it was discovered that the company, with the aid of its auditing firm, had been maintaining fraudulent books for a number of years. With the company's ownership in dispute, there was a need to raise immediate cash to pay creditors, and Akai Professional was sold to Numark. As a result, Akai Professional no longer has any connection with the parent company. Numark, including Akai (and Alesis) is now owned by a company named InMusic, headquartered in Rhode Island in the U.S. Akai Professional continues in business today, marketing a wide variety of music products including synths, drum machines, DJ equipment, studio gear, and its EWI line of breath controllers. Sawa's assassinations are famous among the police for her use of special bullets that explode inside the body after piercing the skin. Eventually, Sawa meets a fellow assassin named Oburi, who is of a similar age, and a bond quickly forms between them. Due to their relationship, Sawa slowly gains the emotional strength to escape from her guardians to set out on her own. Oburi is leaving Akai and Kanie's service after killing three more targets, but Akai orders Sawa to kill Oburi instead of letting him go. Realizing that Sawa has the drop on him, Oburi tells her that Akai and Kanie were the ones who murdered her parents, but Sawa reveals that she has known that for years. She lets Oburi live and goes to take out her next target, a movie star whose bodyguards nearly kill her. In the struggle, she loses one of her earrings and sustains several minor injuries. When Oburi shows up alive, Kanie sends him after a corrupt district attorney, but the man is actually a SWAT officer, who nearly kills Oburi before Sawa arrives and saves him. Oburi confronts Akai and tells him that he and Sawa are both leaving, but Akai overpowers and savagely beats him. Sawa comes to Oburi's rescue again but is captured by Akai and Kanie. He tells her where Kanie is going to kill Oburi and that he is looking forward to finding Oburi's body. Sawa then leaves, saying she has an exam the next day. The next morning, Akai arrives at a murder scene. He draws back the covering over the body and flinches when he sees it's Kanie. One of the crime scene investigators reminds him that the body's location is where a double murder occurred several years prior, when the parents of a teenage girl were killed. Akai then goes to where Kanie had been taking Oburi to confront him, but instead finds Sawa, who shoots him in the right hand and groin before emptying the magazines of both her and Oburi's guns into the rest of his body.
