De Bushalte is a small, middle-aged nation existing on the Purple sphere. It is ruled with varying levels of success by their elected leader-for-life Isaac Sumizone. Although elected, the leader of De Bushalte has no title and is referred to both officially and informally as Isaac Sumizone. The government of De Bushalte is an extremely intricate system based on which phase of the economic cycle the nation is currently in. The government operates largely by a series of constitutionally-defined governmental tiers and Isaac-created governmental bodies. To attain a position on one of these tiers, or "ministries" as they are often referred to by the De Bushalte media, one must be a specialist and highly renown in that field. For example, to attain a position within the Ministry of Economics, one must be an economist or hold a related job, and be very good at it. Books have been written attempting to label De Bushalte's governmental system. The closest definition currently available is a eccentric socialist-democratic society. De Bushalte is a member of the Legion, a Purple team alliance of some renown. De Bushalte actively participates in this alliance where Isaac Sumizone holds several important positions. He acts as both the Director of Recruitment and the Director of Analysis and Statistics for the Legion, and, more importantly, he acts as the alliance's Inspector General.
