Farthing
rdfs:comment
The Farthing (F) is a copper coin. It is the smallest unit of payment in Drakensang. 1 copper Farthing = 0.1 silver Thaler = 0.01 gold Ducat or 1 gold Ducat (1D) = 10 silver Thalers (10T) = 100 copper Farthings (100F) In the world of TDE, the Farthing can be subdivided further into Kreutzers (1 Farthing = 10 Kreutzers), but that unit is not implemented in Drakensang. Aventurian money also has weight; ten Farthings weigh one ounce. However, in Drakensang money is stored in the Quest Bag and therefore in effect "has no weight". Farthing is a little girl from the Werewolf Village, which is located on the southern half of the Isle of Balduran. Farthing has lost her dolly and asks Gorion's Ward and party return it her should they come across it. Farthing leads a pretty simple life, no parents eaten by the scourge, no criminal record. And no superpowers beyond those of a Priest. He grew up in Stormwind, but moved on to Aldrassil later to start his Priest training. The reason for starting this in Aldrassil is to many unknown. - from Paths of Destiny (Ultima V) The original parts of the Shire were subdivided into four Farthings ("fourth-ings" or "quarterings"): the Three-Farthing stone marked the point where the borders of the Eastfarthing, Westfarthing and Southfarthing of the Shire came together, by the East Road.

In this isolated manor, far to the southeast of Skara Brae, resides a retired old sea dog named Lord Seggallion and his eccentric companion, known as the Great Mage Temme. Though she might seem but a proud charlatan, she actually has some innovative ideas concerning spells of disappearance that are well worth listening to.

The original parts of the Shire were subdivided into four Farthings ("fourth-ings" or "quarterings"): the Three-Farthing stone marked the point where the borders of the Eastfarthing, Westfarthing and Southfarthing of the Shire came together, by the East Road.
