In the first season, the story centers on six friends who find metallic cards which have fallen from the sky or to be more precise, Vestroia itself. They name themselves the Bakugan Battle Brawlers and consist of seven children: Dan, Shun, Runo, Marucho, Julie, Alice, and later Joe. Together they learn more about the origin of the Bakugan, Vestroia, the game involving them, and the battle against the Doom Beings. In New Vestroia, Dan, Marucho, and Shun are called to the newly restored Vestroia to stop an alien race called the Vestals who invaded it. They allied with the Bakugan Battle Brawlers Resistance: Mira, Ace, and Baron in order to stop an evil group known as the Vexos from taking over New Vestroia, and possibly, the whole universe. In Gundalian Invaders, Dan, Marucho and Shun get caught up in a war between two different alien factions in another universe, and teaming up with three new brawlers, Princess Fabia (Princess of Neathia), Jake (who is Human), and Ren (who is an undercover Gundalian) in order to stop the evil Gundalian Protectors, the Twelve Orders from destroying Neathia, and possibly, Earth. But Ren is secretly trying to get the Gundalians to win the war, so Fabia and her planet has been trusted by the Battle Brawlers and hopefully they'll protect Bakugan Interspace, Neathia (which is Fabia's home planet) and possibly Earth from being ruled by the Gundalians. In Mechtanium Surge, bakugan Interspace gets messy when Dan learns that when Drago evolved into Titanium Dragonoid at the end of the last season, they formed a link with a mysterious enemy trying to destroy the universe and are plagued by recurring visions of the masked villain named Mag Mel and his Bakugan Razenoid, and later learn that Mag Mel was once Barodius, who was thought to been destroyed by the sacred orb when he tried to get Dharak to absorb the powers of the sacred orb but were sent to the reverse dimension of Bakugan Interspace and eventually mutated into Mag Mel and Razenoid, they were latered to be destroyed when their gate and key shattered, but revealled to Dan and Drago at the end of the first arc about a new enemy to be their destruction. In arc 2 of Mechtanium Surge, peace was short lived when four evil Mechtogan lead by a Mechtogan named Coredegon, attempt to destroy all the bakugan, later a group of evil bakugan called the Nonets were freed from the Doom Dimension, which they were sent to be imprisoned by the original Dragonoid, the current Dragonoid's ancestor, by a masked man called Wiseman, who tried to separate Bakugan and Humans to create a new world. In order to defeat Wiseman, the Nonets, and the evil Mechtogan, the brawlers need the help of Dragonoid Destroyer to finish off and destroy Wiseman, the Nonets, and their greatest weapon, Mechtavius Destroyer (which is a combination of coredegon, Exostriker, Mandibor, and Slycerak) once and for all dr-fan/mai-lover-aer-you-thinking-what-iam-thinking-howabout-backugan-ceroosover-waith-naertuo-hhm
