Grunts was a male Weequay owned by Lady Valarian on Tatooine, before being won by Han Solo in a game of Sabacc. Solo set Grunts free as soon as they left the Lucky Despot. Solo hired Grunts to help with cargo, but he and Chewbacca didn't get along, Solo was forced to let Grunts go. Grunts is a Halo machinima series by Giant Robot Army Films. Grunts speak in a barking kind of manner, and do have names, examples being Yayap, Dadab, Flipyap, and similar names. They are the lowest ranking warrior species in the Covenant, being the fastest to reproduce, and often used as cannon fodder. They are usually seen along with Elites or Jackals, although Jackals and Grunts never get along, and often fight. Grunts are the basic foot-soldiers of Seventh Wave forces. They are numerous, yet weak. They carry the level's most numerous weapon (AK 47 in the case of Velblesk City Street, G36C in the case of Nazran Foundry, etc). They only appear in earlier levels and Nazran Foundry. The rest of the time, Soldiers take their place. They wear green woodland camouflage, with an eye-showing balaclava on their faces and a beanie hat on their heads. Faculty Sponsor: Gunny Bardue (I think.) The Grunts were two teams of Red and Blue soldiers living in an unknown part of the galaxy. These soldiers were for some reason in a constant loop of attack and retaliation, revival and senseless murder. They serve as supporting antagonists in the Blood Gulch Chronicles, but the only identifiable member of the Grunts is the Red Zealot.

To buy himself passage off planet Grunts then worked for Kem. In 8.5 ABY Grunts saw Solo and his new wife Leia Organa Solo and was present when the Killik Twilight was stolen by Kitster Chanchani Banai in Mos Espa's "performance hall". Grunts then helped the Solos by bringing them to an apartment with a vantage point of the Banai household and acting as lookout. Grunts spent at least twelve years on Tatooine, which was evidenced by his twelve seclusion braids in 8 ABY.
