Forest is a stage that first appeared in Dead or Alive 3. The Forest is a tower that makes trees fall on the Bloons. This pops 5 layers in an AoE (Area of Effect) manner, popping Bloons in a 30x100...rectangle? :S The range circle is shown below: (credit to Logo) A tree falls every 20 seconds. The trees also block Bloons, acting like a Stone Monolith but only supporting 20 RBE and blimps fly over it. The Forest costs $1500. The Forest can't pop M.O.A.B. class (they fly over the trees) or Lead Bloons without upgrades, but can pop frozen and Camo. Roan is the god of forest; Roan loves all forests. The Rainforest is a magical world full of wonderful animals and beautiful plants that every human should love. If you look on Youtube you should see plenty about why rainforests are beautiful. Rainforests have tall trees, a vast diversity of plants and animals and of course rain. A great many rainforests are cut down. This can cause extinction of Endangered species. Deforestation also adds to soil erosion because the trees help hold soil and increases the risk of flooding because trees hold water. The Forest is a mostly open area with trees as borders that doesn't allow the player to escape the map. There's also rocks and pumpkins spread across around the floor, and grass scenery on the wall. Beginning life under the name The Foresters of Walesby, the group began singing unaccompanied vocal harmony folk songs in Lincolnshire folk clubs. After relocating to Birmingham, West Midlands, in 1968, they shortened their name to Forest and soon progressed to writing within the burgeoning psychedelic/acid folk movement in the wake of the Incredible String Band's emergence in the mid-1960s. They were championed by DJ John Peel and performed several sessions for BBC Radio 1. In 1969, they were signed by Blackhill Enterprises and were amongst the first wave of signings for EMI's new progressive Harvest Records label.(Read more at Wikipedia) In the overworld, forests usually cover characters up to the waist when they cross them, with the exception of Final Fantasy VIII, where characters leave a trail when crossing a forest, and the camera moves to an aerial view of the world map. The Forest is a decoration in FarmVille. The Forest, known as Paradise Meadows in the Jukebox, is the first world in Pac-Man World 2. Forest was a town of about 2500 people in southwestern Ontario, Canada. It was located near Sarnia. It is now part of the town of Lambton Shores. In Rise of Nations, Forest is a prominent terrain, being the main source of Timber, one of the first and most important Basic Resources. A considerable gather rate of Timber can only be attained through a Forest with a Woodcutter's Camp built on it. The more trees surrounding a Woodcutter's Camp, the higher Citizen capacity the camp will have, and the higher its maximum gather rate of Timber will be. Unlike Mountains or Cliffs, which only allow one given Mine per nation to be built to gather Metal on them, a Forest has no limit on the amount of Woodcutter Camps a nation can build on it. However, a new camp with an overlapping area of workable trees will not be able to gather from them if the trees are already being worked by another camp, hence multiple camps in the same Forest will only be truly useful if the Forest is large enough for the addtional camps to have enough trees for themselves alone. Forests are also impassable barriers to all land units, except by the Iroquois Scouts. This means that Forests can create choke points and narrow passages of great strategic value. This holds specially true in maps with large, dense Forests, such as the Amazon Rainforest. This effect is even stronger if Forests are accompanied by Mountains or Cliffs, which are also impassable for land units, without exception. Some maps of a more "arid" nature, such as African Watering Hole, may contain almost no Forests, only individual trees and small, scattered patches, making the efficient production of Timber both a bigger problem and a higher priority for the players. The forest was recreated between the episodes William Returns and Double Take by Jeremie and Aelita. It made its first reappearance in Opening Act and the new forest appears to have new areas added on such as the forest arena seen in Opening Act. Forest is the first location visited after Seles. It is the first place the player meets monsters at and the first place to have a maze in it. The Forest was a planned level but was scrapped and replaced with the Jungle. Some hackers have been able to hack the SWF of the game by changing the stage list variables and even managed to get it to run online clientside. Forest is the fifteenth episode of Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, and the fifth episode of season 2. The Forest was an area on Club Penguin Island, filled with a variety of trees and rocks. While not as large as the Wilderness, which filled a large portion of the northern side of the island, the Forest was rather sizable. Forests can be found as whole islands, in the center of a Marsh, or as small portions of other islands, typically near the center. It is also possible to find other biomes in the center of a forest biome. pl:Las ru:Биомы A forest was an area with a large number of trees. The forest is a vast woodland area that takes up a large portion of the land in Camp Wawanakwa. A large number of challenges take place in the forest. The forest contains a varied wildlife, most notably bears and the Sasquatchanakwa. The woods were most prominently featured in The Sucky Outdoors, and played a large part in the challenge in Are We There Yeti? The forest is also shown in Total Drama Action, once again playing a role in some of the challenges. The forest itself did not appear in Total Drama World Tour, as Camp Wawanakwa was not showcased during the season. However, it had a brief cameo appearance in a never-before-seen exclusive clip revealed in the first episode of Total Drama World Tour Aftermath. Forest-spaces mainly appear in the 2D Fire Emblem games like Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade, Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade, and Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. The Forest-spaces provide a +1 bonus to Defense and +20 bonus to Avoid, allowing the unit under cover to take less damage and have a greater chance to avoid enemy attacks. Like all terrains, the effects activate when both defending and attacking while standing on the space. It is also noteworthy that entering or passing through a Forest requires two remaining move tiles (three for horse-based units), meaning the Terrain also reduces movement. This can be avoided most of the time however by going around forested areas. Forest-spaces that exist in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance or it's sequel Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn are uncrossable, although those games featured the Thicket which is similar in effect to a normal forested space. Forests are a relatively common biome on Minecraft. They have medium-sized trees, grass, and occasional mushrooms. Forest Biomes are common spawn places for Sheep and Pigs. They are often not good for a starting player due to the lack of coal and places with overhangs, not to mention Skeletons hiding under the trees. Despite this, they are a good place to get wood, specifically oak. Attack Bonus and Armor Class checks occur more often in forests. thumb|168px|Der Wald Der Forest, also der Wald, ist eine Gegend in Club Penguin, erreichbar durch den Plaza, den Cove, das Spy Phone oder der Map, auf gut Deutsch der Karte. Forest is a type of Terrain in the world of Master of Magic. It is quite abundant on both Planes, sometimes appearing as entire regions of wooded land. Forest tiles combine a small bonus to any nearby town's Maximum Population and Maximum Food with a small bonus to such towns' File:Icon Production.png rate. This makes them somewhat generalized - useful but not excellent. For most File:Icon Movement Ground.png units, movement through Forest tiles costs 2 Movement Points. The File:Ability Forester.png Forester ability, however, reduces this back to 1 Movement Point per Forest tile. Construction of Roads in Forest tiles is only moderately fast, but indeed faster than most other tiles. Forest tiles can contain a wide variety of Terrain Specials, mostly Nature Nodes and various other Encounter zones. Furthermore, Forest tiles are the only default location for Wild Game, which significantly increases the tile's strategic importance. A town with no Forest tiles in its vicinity cannot construct a Sawmill - thus stunting its development. Fortunately for File:Icon Nature.png-wielding wizards, it is possible to change Grassland tiles into Forest tiles to remedy this, using the File:Icon Nature.pngChange Terrain spell. Forests can also be transformed back into Grassland with the same spell. The File:Icon Nature.pngGaia's Blessing spell has no such effect on Forests, but instead doubles their File:Icon Production.png bonus. Forest is a stage in Hill Climb Racing. In the game's introduction scene, Forest reveals to his secretary that he wishes to retire from being the President, and is tired of being locked up in his small office room. He decides that he shall hand over his presidency role to the Choro-Q that wins the World Grand Prix. Once you have won the World Grand Prix and first meet Forest, he says that you look just like him when he was young. To earn and take over his presidency position, he challenges you to a final showdown race on the Endurance Run circuit in My City. When you do win, Forest will congratulate you, and thinks you will be a great President. Additionally, Forest will also send you an email after beating him, and says that he will be supporting you. Forest makes a return appearance in Choro-Q HG 3, and lives in FroolBua's apartment in Noise City. He frequently talks of his past and drops hints in relation to his previous presidency role, such as mentioning that he used to have a stuffy job a long time ago. As first seen in the Choro-Q HG 2 intro sequence, this seems to be further evidence of Forest not enjoying his time of presidency very much, and now seems much happier being retired. He also claims that he once knew someone else that had the same "spark" in their eyes as yourself, which is clearly referring to the protagonist of Choro-Q HG 2 and current President of the world. Interestingly, Forest also hints towards being related to the Meister, but you learn nothing more of this, as he then says that it's in relation to the past and can't say anything more. "Forest" is the third episode of Season 2 of Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, and the thirteenth episode in the series overall. Forest is a map in Day of Defeat. Forest later known as Queen Beverly Foundation Park is an island in MySims Safari. It is a dedicated preserve to koala bears but also has a plaza owned by DJ Candy. She often does parties there but she also has a tower which she lives in and communicates to the rest of her former troop (Gal Force 4). Forests are often close to the initial spawn-points of player-characters. Forests consist of rather high hills, mostly covered with green Grass and others perhaps with Dead Grass. Medium-sized to large trees will grow all over the place; mostly Cragwood-trees, birch-like Ashenwood-trees and Autumnwood-trees with colorful foliage that come in three different colors (yellow-brown, reddish-brown and red), also maybe some pine-like Elderwood-trees here and there, often on brown Dead Grass with Rimecones underneath. Several Caves can be found at the feet of hills and/or at the base of large trees and such can be easy to overlook. Caution should be exercised or a heavy fall into hostile darkness might occur! Small lakes can only rarely be discovered in Forests, and rivers are also rare. Cragwood Logs can be often seen lying on the forest ground though, even in areas where other types of trees are the dominant species. Below the thin layer of grass there's usually Dirt that is forming the hills, then Stone and further down the Fossil layer begins, where Caves will often lead into. Dirt that is placed on the surface and touches green Grass will turn into Grass after a short while (as long as player-characters are nearby). Dirt will not turn into Dead Grass though, neither will green Grass decay into Dead Grass. Tallgrass (providing you with Wheat-seeds randomly) can grow on Grass occasionally, as well as patches of 5 Red Mushrooms each. These mushrooms will even regrow - very slowly - in time. Brown Mushrooms can be found embedded in Dirt right under the thin layer of Grass; and at cave-entries. Yellow Flowers are hidden in a quite large amount amongst the leaves of Cragwood-trees, as well as Autumnwood Flowers on Autumnwood-trees of course, Red Flowers on the birch-like Ashenwood-trees and Blue Flowers on pine-like Ashenwood-trees. Vines will often cover the larger Cragwood-tree-specimens and Moss can often be found on Ashenwood, while Beeswax forming hives can be discovered on many tree-tops amidst the leaves. Turnips and/or Lettuce can be discovered in Forests regularly too; and the longer you play, the more of these will spawn. Forests are peaceful biomes during the (ingame-)day. Leafies are the most common inhabitant of Forests, and also Autumn Leafies will gather under Autumnwood-trees. Additionally to them, yellow Pigsies will often spawn on Grass, and perhaps a rare Chizzard here or there. At night Night Pigsies will pop up on the Grass in darkness, also Night Leafies on the ground as well as on top of trees. Night Rocksters and Night Pigsies might come out of Caves additionally; occasionally even Mirus. Of course creatures from nearby biomes might intrude into Forest-biomes as well. Wood Treasure Chests can occasionally show up during (ingame-)night-times in dark places in range of view of player-characters in this biome. These valuable findings can also spawn on tree-tops and at cave-entries. The Forest is a location in Fantage, containing the Grotto. You can collect Gems by playing the games there. There is also Lucky Bob's Trading Post, where you can sell your items. Be careful, you have to buy them back! Outside the trading post there is also a pet treat for your pet to enjoy! There is also a "? Sign" near the Grotto. Click on it to go to the Hidden Meadow, where you click on the portal to go to a place where you can play Secret Adventure. Grotto has a secret passage inside. All you have to do is look at the patterns on the arch and lit them on the candle in order. After candle, da da! You have a ride (swan boat) to the secret passage!
