"Little is known about Silo's early life other than the fact that he lived as a Ba-Matoran on one of the southern islands in the Matoran Universe and that at some point he became a Toa of gravity. After many adventures in the MU his Islands' Turaga sent his small team and the Toa from neighboring islands up to the surface (the Turaga had seen a vision of \"life above our heads\"). After a perilous journey they reached the surface only to find an endless sea. After making a crude boat from resources collected by a Kaukau-wearing Toa, they sailed for many months in search of a land mass. When they finally reached a large island most of the Toa were semi-insane from starvation and each other's company. Silo schemed to kill the Island's Skakdi inhabitants who were obviously a threat by setting off the volcano at the heart of the island. The other Toa were disgusted, saying that he was not worthy of the title of Toa and set him into the woods of the island alone where he met some of the native Skakdi. He told them of the Toa and their location so that the war-happy Skakdi could destroy the intruders. Not a single Toa survived; Not even Toa Silo - now it was just Silo."@en . . . . . "In 2151, the Klingon Klaang crash-landed in a cornfield in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, on Earth. He was pursued by two Suliban soldiers and ran into a silo owned by a farmer named Moore. The two Suliban followed Klaang inside the building but he escaped by jumping out of a door in the silo's upper section. He then destroyed the silo with a Klingon disruptor he had taken with him. (ENT: \"Broken Bow\") The script of \"Broken Bow\" specifies that the gap between the bottom of the silo's ground-level door and the ground was six inches and that the upper door was \"fifteen feet above ground.\" The shot of the silo exploding was scripted to involve visual effects. [1] The silo and the scenes including it were filmed on location in Bakersfield, California. The silo was a full-size prop, actually constructed at the location. The reasoning why the structure was built especially for the episode was so it could be detonated on-site. (\"Broken Bow\" text commentary, ENT Season 1 DVD) In contrast to the script, it was decided that no CGI would be incorporated into the shots of the silo exploding. Executive producer Brannon Braga noted, \"If you watch the [episode] closely, you can see shock waves rippling through the corn. Nothing like a real, good, old-fashioned [...] fireball.\" (\"Broken Bow\" audio commentary, ENT Season 1 DVD)"@en . "Los misiles pueden ser desmontados para liberar espacio."@es . . . . . . .
