Sue Snell es una protagonista de la novela y de las pelĂculas de Carrie. Es la novia de Tommy Ross. In the novel, 1976 film, and musical, she was the sole survivor of the Black Prom, excluding Carrie who used her powers to kill her tormentors and anyone she thought was tormenting her, and who later died herself. In the 2002 film, Sue apart from helping Carrie tries to be her friend, in the end she revives Carrie when she is almost drowned and then drives her away so the latter can start a new life. Susan "Sue" D. Snell was a student of Ewen High School in Chamberlain, Maine and the girlfriend of Tommy Ross. She was one of Chris Hargensen's friends who joined in tormenting Carrie White, especially during the shower incident. Sue later felt guilty about her part in the bullying and asked Ross to take Carrie to their high school prom in her place. She hoped that by doing this, she would be helping Carrie to know what it is like to be accepted and put her conscience at ease.

Sue Snell es una protagonista de la novela y de las pelĂculas de Carrie. Es la novia de Tommy Ross. Sue's plan failed in a way that not even she expected: She discovered that her school was burning and raced to see what had happened. Upon her race to the school, she got into a minor skidding accident in her mother's car, which may have caused a slight concussion. She then searched for Carrie and found her later lying on an empty parking lot bleeding to death. Sue had somehow managed to "hone in" on Carrie's broadcast telepathy, and invited the young woman into her mind to see that she was not involved in the prom debacle, nor did she ever feel any animosity towards her. After Carrie died, Sue finally had her period, although it has been said that she may have been miscarrying, for she was suspecting she was carrying a child she believed to be Tommy's. In 1986, Snell published a memoir recounting her part in the Black Prom. It is shown she has become a heartbroken woman because of these events. In the 1999 film's sequel The Rage: Carrie 2, Sue is grown up and a supporter for Carrie's half-sister and this film's protagonist Rachel Lang. However, near the end, she is killed by Rachel by mistake. However, this story doesn't adapt with the book and can be disregarded. In the 2013 version, she attempts to help Carrie as her house is crumbling. Carrie informs Sue that she is pregnant with Tommy's child and pushes her out of the house before it is demolished. She later leaves flowers at Carries grave.
