The layout of the town changes just like Peach's Castle in each game. It is depicted as cheery and flourishing place. According to Paper Mario Series, it has a massive sewer system that can take you anywhere in the kingdom. This could be just part of the Pipe Maze for it also take you anywhere in the kingdom. The only difference is the sewer pipes are blue instead of green. It was originally called Mushroom Kingdom same as the country however it was renamed Toad Town. The territory of town is 250 millions of square kilometers. In Mario Kart Wii, Toad Town appears in Mario Circuit (MK Wii). At first you are driving through its streets but later go somewhere else and reappear. In Super Mario Galaxy 2, Toad Town ap Toad Town is neither full of toads, nor is it a town. The name was created as an alias, so as to hide the Toad slavery mines. Porky founded the place so he can defeat Ness, but he failed at the end and was soon kicked out of the town. It was here that the Toads were enslaved by Princess Peach, and since then it has been on constant surveillance by Bowser's freedom fighters.
