The Jundland Wastes was the number one place on Tatooine for average folks to get wasted on a wide variety of substances, including weed, spice, death sticks, and other illicit substances. In exchange for being left alone by the authorities, however, those who went to the Wastes to get bombed ran the risk of being rolled by Sand People. Some rough-and-tumble adventurer types made fairly good money working as bodyguards to the totally stoned, and considered the opportunities to shoot hostile natives as an occupational bonus.
