Dantooine (ASWS)
rdfs:comment
Dantooine (pronounced /'dæntuin/) was a world made up of grasslands, rivers and lakes in the Outer Rim Territories, specifically the Raioballo Sector at an endpoint of Myto's Arrow. Far removed from most galactic traffic, Dantooine hosted a small population spread across the world with single-family settlements and small farming communities with large land holdings. One of these notable communities was Khoonda.

n11:abstract
Dantooine (pronounced /'dæntuin/) was a world made up of grasslands, rivers and lakes in the Outer Rim Territories, specifically the Raioballo Sector at an endpoint of Myto's Arrow. Far removed from most galactic traffic, Dantooine hosted a small population spread across the world with single-family settlements and small farming communities with large land holdings. One of these notable communities was Khoonda. The sentient population of the planet consisted primarily of simple Human farmers, though Dantooine was also home to the primitive Dantari species. Notable sentient residents included Berun Modrul and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Native wildlife included the kath hound, the iriaz, the kinrath and the graul. The planet had no industrial settlements or advanced technology throughout history, which allowed for it to remain secluded from most galactic conflicts. There was, however, devastation throughout the planet's history such as when Darth Malak destroyed the Jedi Enclave outside of Khoonda.
