Jack realizes that the person responsible for the disappearance is Senator Wen, who is revealed to be Beverly's superior. ADA had downloaded herself into the GD mainframe to make the previous simulation "authentic" by actually realizing the events of the simulation. Meanwhile, Zane helps Fargo connect with Holly in the mainframe, whose full consciousness had been trapped in the Matrix after her neural patterns were disconnected from her body. Zane develops an adaptive waveform forcefield to hide the Matrix and not repeat the events of the last episode. Fargo manages to get in a few minutes with Holly before being called out to supervise the actual disaster. Allison and Jo also must deal with the emotional awkwardness/trauma of the possibility of Jack winding up with Jo if Allison were gone. The final piece of the scenario is a missile attack that ADA launches from a nearby missile silo. When the EM shield does actually fail, Zane uses his adaptive waveform shield to stop the missiles from destroying GD and the town. Jack and Fargo set it up at the exact coordinates specified by Henry, and they successfully save the town at the last second. Later, everyone gets together at Cafe Diem to celebrate. In the real world Beverly Barlowe returns to Eureka to help Carter rescue the crew, because of Senator Wen's murder of Holly Marten. She plugs Carter into the simulation to replace Virtual-Carter just before he kills Zane. They collaborate with the rest of the main Astraeus crew to destroy the virtual version of the ship. Attempting to construct an explosion of this magnitude will make the Central Processor overheat which Henry can track in the real world. This works but the explosion causes a Cascade failure in the system, the simulation begins to collapse with the Astraeus crew still inside. They give Zane an electrical shock in order to interrupt the signals exchanged between the computer and Zane's brain effectively ejecting him from inside the simulation. Zane wakes up to the barrel of one of the Consortium soldier's guns. Jo arrives just in time to stop Zane from getting shot. Zane ejects everyone but Carter from the simulation. Someone logs Beverly out of the system so she can't eject the Sheriff, then Senator Wen and a large group of soldiers storm Henry's garage and try to disconnect Carter from the Mainframe. Henry pulls a stun grenade on everyone but Beverly, including himself, trusting Beverly with Carter's life. Beverly gets Zane to log her back on and ejects Carter, she then kidnaps senator Wen and plugs her into the simulator, trapping her in a looping virtual version of the Sheriff's office. Carter meets Allison's genius older brother. Carter's intelligence begins to suddenly grow, and Allison tries to find out why. Relics of Demon Past "Arrival"

It is winter in the town. Bob wears a big parka to look like an Alaskan Eskimo. Wendy's sister, Jenny, visits after a ski trip. Bob and his friends have their work cut out to prepare for the town's annual Christmas concert and Bob's twin brother Tom is coming for christmas. But when Tom misses his ferry it's up to Wendy to save the day. Auntie Dora is coming to visit and she is a stickler for tidiness. Already the yard is in a complete mess and the machines try to clean it up, but they only make it worse. Mrs. Percival is preparing costumes for the school play. Spud borrows the dragon costume and pretends to be a magic dragon when he sees Muck. Scoop notices that Farmer Pickles has entered Scruffty into the dog show, which determines him to also enter Pilchard, even though she is a cat. Roley almost crushes Bob's toolbox. This causes anxiety from him to think he is always clumsy. This always makes him more accident-prone. Using an old ironing board, Spud makes a skateboard and rides it all over town. Spud Bob has just put up some traffic calming measures. When Spud comes across Bob, Dizzy, Roley and Scoop, he crashes into the dumpster. His skateboard was finally lost and broken. Muck and Dizzy are clearing a blocked drain. Muck gets spooked by gurgling noises and is convinced it is a monster. Farmer Pickles' hen has abandoned her eggs, so Bob is building a hen coop. Spud decides to look after the chicks. Bob, Wendy and the Machines are going to Mrs. Broadbent's House who had a big hole in the wall but, Scruffty gets stuck in the rabbit hole, that Lofty needs your help to get out of the rabbit hole. Mr. Bentley inspects a pipe, he gets soaked. Spud tries to take over, but he has no qualifications. Wendy is inviting the whole town for a barbecue party for her sister, Jenny. But the machines have just laid a garden path and they are too tired to come. Bob's gang are making a bird hide at the nature reserve and also want to get a glimpse of the rare Grebe Warbler. But Spud appears instead dressed like a bird. Scoop and Wendy try to clear the roads, but they bumped into the porcupine crossing. Spud tries to skate on the frozen duck pond, but the ice is not thick enough. Dizzy sends Bob and Lofty out to rescue him.

Aceveda and Kavanaugh join forces to nail Mackey for harboring a fugitive. Wagenbach files for a transfer, and Sofer decides to inform her baby's father of his new child. The Strike Team figures out their next step concerning Internal Affairs' investigation into Lemansky; they send Hanlon undercover to help take down a sex-trafficking operation. Wagenbach feels betrayed by Wyms when she re-opens one of his cases, and Mackey comes face-to-face with Kavanaugh. The walls close in on Mackey when Kavanaugh sets up office in the Barn. An elusive serial killer re-enters Wagenbach and Wyms's lives, and Hanlon's discovery of Lowe's homosexual past adds a new level of tension to their relationship. Lemansky is interrogated by Kavanaugh and Aceveda about the Strike Team's corrupt past. The Strike Team investigates multiple homicides and an extortion scam, and Wagenbach and Wyms investigate a preacher about attempted murder. Hanlon causes problems for Lowe and Sofer. Wagenbach and Wyms investigate a riot at a high school that stemmed from racial tensions. Lemansky gets an unexpected visit from Internal Affairs Lt. Jon Kavanaugh. Lowe tries out his new role as training officer for rookie Tina Hanlon, and Sofer refuses to disclose the father of her baby. As Kavanaugh deals with the emotional circumstances surrounding the return of his ex-wife, he forges an unlikely alliance with Antwon Mitchell in his obsession to take down the Strike Team. Emoila, sent by Mackey, infiltrates a Salvadoran gang that has been stockpiling grenades. Mackey strikes a deal with Antwon Mitchell that will guarantee Lemansky's safety in prison as Lemansky prepares to plead guilty. The deal unexpectedly goes awry, and Mackey takes drastic measures to protect Lemansky. A betrayal and uncontrollable circumstances threaten to damage Wagenbach and Wyms's longstanding friendship. Becca Doyle contemplates whether or not to represent the Strike Team in court, Mackey questions Emolia's loyalty. Wagenbach and Wyms investigate a case of road rage that escalated to a double homicide. Hanlon's continuing mistakes create friction between her and Lowe, and Corrine has a confrontation with Kavanaugh. The Strike Team's solidarity begins to crack as Kavanaugh has Gardocki interrogated and he struggles to discover how Mackey got $65,000 that he gave to Corrine. The Strike Team investigates the murder of a drug dealer’s girlfriend and her daughter. Wyms's grueling effort to break Kleavon Gardner takes a toll on her health. After Edie's death, Dave Williams spends a lot of time isolated, and this upsets the women of Wisteria Lane, particularly Susan, who quickly suspects he may be suicidal after paying him a visit. Katherine makes a confession to Mike, and Bree is suspicious that her husband may still be lying to her. In the meantime, Orson does his best to get rid of a witness to his crimes, and Gabrielle joins a gardening club in which she is forced to actually garden, which leads to her going for Tom for help. Lynette falls in the shower and is rescued by Carlos, and Tom works out to impress Lynette. Edie Britt perishes on Wisteria Lane after a tragic accident, and the women of the street are brought together by this heart-wrenching event to go on a road trip with the intention of giving Edie's ashes to her son. During the trip, the women look back on Edie's life and their relationships with her: Susan recalls how their great rivalry started off with what could had been a great friendship; Lynette thinks fondly of one time Edie took her to chemotherapy, but not without making a short stop first; Bree remembers how Edie saved her marriage and her soul; Gabrielle reminisces about a very fun and sensual girls' night out; and Mrs. McCluskey tells everyone of how just a good mother Edie Britt truly was. Wisteria Lane becomes the resting place for the quintessential vixenish Housewife of the series, and Edie Britt lives on with this walk down memory lane. Clip show recapping the events that transpired on the Island in Seasons 1 through 4. In Camelot, with Mary Margaret and David attempting to retrieve the Dark One's dagger, Emma uses a dreamcatcher to look into the past to see how Merlin was transformed into a tree. Together with Regina, she figures out the critical ingredient they must acquire to free him, but it's a race against Arthur, who doesn't want the Sorcerer released. Tangential to this, with a little encouragement from his moms, Henry finally musters up the courage to ask Violet out on a date while, back in Storybrooke, the heroes break into the Dark Swan's house hoping to locate Gold; what they find instead, however, will give them a glimpse of her ultimate endgame plan. Dave has some deadly plans for his camping trip with Mike and Katherine, and Edie stumbles upon the horrifying truth, which has even deadlier consequences. Kate discovers that someone knows the secret of Aaron's true parental lineage. Meanwhile, the dramatic shifts through time are placing the lives of the remaining Island survivors in extreme peril. Things begin to unravel when one of the survivors goes rogue and takes matters into their own hands, risking the lives of everyone on the Island. Zelena and Arthur journey to DunBroch on a mission to retrieve an enchanted relic that will provide the advantage they need to vanquish Emma and our heroes. Their path will cross with Merida's, who is on a journey of her own to pay a debt that her father, King Fergus, owed to a certain witch when he died. To do this, she enlists the help of two friends: Mulan and Ruby. However, in order to satisfy the witch and save DunBroch, Merida first must discover the identity of the knight who killed her father, and, in flashbacks, she is seen learning about bravery and honor as she trains for combat and rides alongside Fergus into the infamous battle that claimed his life. Carlos finally regains his sight which leads to him realizing the efforts Gabrielle put into taking care of their family. Susan realizes that her son isn't accepting of his father's newfound relationship with Katherine Mayfair, and Bree tries to prove to her son that she is comfortable with his lifestyle after she learns he is dating Orson's surgeon. Lynette tries to protect her son Porter from going to jail after he is charged for burning down the club, and Dave begins to lose his grip as he is haunted by visions. When neighborhood handyman Eli Scruggs , passes away, the residents of Wisteria Lane come to realize just how much he affected their lives. Gabrielle recalls how Eli helped her make new friends when she moved in, Lynette remembers how he came to her aide when she was overwhelmed and neglected Penny, Susan reflects on how he was always there for her as a shoulder to cry on each time a man walked out of her life, Edie looks back on their special friendship, and Bree thinks fondly of how a small gesture he once made helped get her to where she is today. The time of reckoning has begun when Daniel Faraday comes clean regarding what he knows about the Island. Bree clashes with Alex's mother for their sons' affections. Gabrielle urges Carlos to take a six-figure job, even though it means spending more time away from home. Susan turns to Lee for company while Jackson is away. Lynette catches Preston talking to Porter on the phone. Mrs. McCluskey and her sister, Roberta, arrive at Dr. Heller's office in Boston to talk with him unaware that he's recently deceased. Meanwhile, Edie grows weary of Dave, whose strange behavior hasn't abated. Finally reunited, Hook and Emma must find a way to defeat Hades so that they can return to Storybrooke with the others, and a surprise visit from the pirate's dearly departed brother Liam might just provide them with the lead they're looking for. Others who have tried to overthrow the Underworld's leader spoke of a book that contained the key to his downfall; while the others search for this book, Henry secretly takes matters into his own hands, tired of watching from the sidelines. Meanwhile, Hades redoubles his efforts to trap the heroes in the Underworld by playing them against one another and, in flashbacks, the bond between the two young Jones brothers is tested and strengthened on a merchant ship heading into a dangerous storm. Susan starts a new job in order to give son MJ the best, but when Mike leaves their son in Katherine's care, anger and jealousy pervade. As the Scavo restaurant continues to take a hit in the current economy, Lynette tells Tom they have to sell. Carlos receives a generous bonus when Gabrielle discovers his boss' dirty little secret. Orson confronts Bree when he learns she's given Andrew a raise. Meanwhile, Dave comes closer to performing his vengeance scheme. Susan and Jackson try to put on a show for the authorities as they fake an engagement, which leads Mike to propose to Katherine. Meanwhile, Dave tries to get the witness of his misdeeds to go away. Five years have gone on Wisteria Lane, and the lives of the housewives are forever changed. Bree is now a successful businesswoman in charge of a rising catering company and about to publish her first cookbook; her success causes partner and friend Katherine Mayfair to grow envious and feel undershadowed by Bree. Lynette is now dealing with hellish teenagers who fail to obey her rules and act out in the worst possible ways, and worst of all, her childish husband fails to see just how badly the twins are ruining their own lives by not getting the rules. Gabrielle is the frumpy mother of two little girls, and she feels guilty when she realizes her daughters are overweight. Susan is hiding a secret lover, and Edie Britt returns to Wisteria Lane with a new man in tow. Connections lead to surprising resolutions, as Susan and Edie are forced to spend time alone together when they accidentally lock themselves in a basement. Bree doesn't like it when Alex indicates that she is emasculating her husband. Gabrielle loses control of her children and turns to Carlos for help. Locke’s fateful mission off the Island as Jeremy Bentham is revealed. In an effort to protect Emma, Regina steps up in a surprising way that will test her mettle as a force for good. King Arthur and Queen Guinevere throw a royal ball to welcome the heroes to Camelot, but when the celebration takes a deadly turn, David and Robin must leap into action or lose a crucial asset in the fight to save Emma. Back in Storybrooke, Hook deploys a tried-and-true technique in hopes of bringing his Dark Swan back into the light while the heroes discover that some unexpected baggage has followed them home from Camelot. Jack's decision to put a plan in action in order to set things right on the Island is met with some strong resistance by those close to him, and Locke assigns Ben a difficult task. It isn't long before the Evil Queen and the Wicked Witch get into a sibling squabble, and Rumple has to deliver some shocking news to his wife that will change her life forever. Meanwhile, Snow and David hopelessly attempt to send a message to their son Neal and, in flashbacks to the land of Oz, Hades learns about a very special spell of Zelena's and decides to pay her a visit with the intention of striking an alliance. A reporter named Sandra Birch goes out of her way to make Bree look like a sham, whereas Gabrielle and Carlos learn they have been included in maniacal Mrs. Hildebrand's will, as the sole heirs of her entire fortune. In the meantime, Mrs. McCluskey and Roberta decide to go and see Dr. Heller, unaware that he is already in Fairview and looking for Dave Williams. The men of Wisteria Lane prepare to play at the annual "Battle of the Bands" concert at The White Horse Club, and a fire breaks out and puts lives on the line. Some will fall as a hero will rise... In the Underworld, an escapee from Hades' prison informs the heroes that Hook is being held captive; however, before they can rescue him, they must first face the terrifying beast that guards the prison, prompting Mary Margaret to search for an old childhood friend who knows how to defeat it. Once reunited though, she discovers that he is no longer the hero he once was. Meanwhile, in the Enchanted Forest of the past, a young Snow White struggles to preserve peace in her kingdom and must learn how to be a true hero if she wants to one day become Queen. Immediately after becoming the Dark One, Emma disappears and the heroes must band together to save her, but first they have to find her, which will require the help of an unlikely ally. Meanwhile, in the Enchanted Forest, Emma struggles to resist her dark urges as she searches for Merlin in the hope that he can stop her transformation. Along the way to Camelot, she gets help from the plucky and brave warrior princess Merida, as well as King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table. Bree's estranged daughter, Danielle, returns to Wisteria Lane and is met with a deluge of criticism. Meanwhile, Gabrielle and Susan find themselves embroiled in a catfight brought on by an altercation between their kids. To her chagrin, Lynette comes home to find Tom and Dave have formed a garage band after she told him to get rid of his old things. Finally, Katherine and Mrs. McCluskey invite Edie to lunch to press her for more information on Dave.
