Upon acquiring the ink needed for his magic quill, the Author begins his new tale, thus transporting all those of Storybrooke inside of his new book, taking place in the Enchanted Forest, set in an alternate universe. Not wanting a Savior in his new story to set things right, Isaac has Emma Swan imprisoned in a tower in the middle of the Bottomless Sea. ("Operation Mongoose, Part 1") Henry Mills arrives to save the day, however, and he and Deckhand Hook sail across the Bottomless Sea, making their way to Emma's tower to free and rescue her. As the three set off on the Jolly Roger, the guard watching Emma, none other than Lily Page, transforms into a dragon and sets out after them. They get away though, firing the canon at her, knocking her into the Sea so that they may set off to set thing
