Wolf (animal) Wolf (Animal)
rdfs:comment
A Wolf is a pack animal that appears in Survivors. Wolves are animals that can generally be found around forests sleeping during the day. At night, they usually wake up and walk toward villages in packs. If they manage to spot a villager, they will likely attack and kill him/her, unless someone (a god or a creature) intervenes. They are most notably found in Land 2, where they are part of silver reward scroll challenge called "The Riddles" and can be used to complete "The Slavers" challenge; as well as in Land 3, where Lethys sends a pack of possessed wolves to the player's recently conquered indian village, in an attempt of reclaiming it. Wolves appear in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. They can be encountered in Afghanistan, acting as a threat to the player. A wolf also appeared in the rainforests of Africa as the deceased parent for DD in the TGS 2014 gameplay demo, although in the final version, they are exclusive to Afghanistan. The Gamescom 2014 demo showed three wolves on a cliffside, shortly after Venom Snake Fulton extracted a stray goat out of the area, implying that they were prepared to kill the goat and devour it had Venom Snake not intervened. Like most large wildlife, it is possible to Fulton extract them if tranquilized or stunned from afar.

n7:abstract
A Wolf is a pack animal that appears in Survivors. If a wolf pounces the player, the player needs to shake them off. Successfully doing so will leave them stunned long enough to allow the player to Fulton them. When being fultoned, they will whimper slightly before, if the player uses a regular fulton, making a howl. Like all the animals, wolves are a source of food.
