Moreau was newly assigned to the Enterprise in 2267, where she made the acquaintance of Captain James T. Kirk a week later. The captain was initially flustered, as he had just met her counterpart from a parallel universe, who had served as his counterpart's captain's woman aboard the ISS Enterprise. Spock noticed Kirk's surprise and asked if they had met before. Kirk explained that they hadn't, (which was technically true) but that she "seemed a nice, likable girl" and he thought they might become friends. (TOS: "Mirror, Mirror" ) Like her counterpart, Moreau was portrayed by Barbara Luna. The original footage of Moreau's introduction to Kirk was later reused in the 30th anniversary tribute, "Trials and Tribble-ations" , where Benjamin Sisko was juxtaposed in her place during his introduction to Kirk. thumb|Marlena Moreau (2267) Lieutenant Marlena Moreau ist eine Wissenschaftsoffizierin der Sternenflotte, die ab 2267 an Bord der USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) dient. Lieutenant Moreau was a Starfleet chemist who served aboard the USS Enterprise in the 2260s. She was the daughter of François Moreau. (TOS - Mirror Universe novel: The Sorrows of Empire) She was assigned to the Enterprise in 2267. One week later, Lt. Moreau met Captain James T. Kirk for the first time when she came to the bridge to deliver a report for his signature. Unbeknownst to Moreau, Kirk had recently met a different Marlena Moreau in the mirror universe. Spock remarked that Kirk's reaction was one of recognition, and Kirk replied that he had never met her before, but that he thought the two of them could become friends. (TOS episode: "Mirror, Mirror")
