The teleport is a tile in Chip's Challenge that sends movable objects to another part of the level. When an object enters a teleport, it will exit out the next teleport in reverse wrappable reading order - right to left within any row, then moving on to the right of the next row to the north, and so on - in the opposite direction, assuming this is a legal move and the Teleport Skip Glitch has not been activated. Not only can it be used to put a non-immune enemy stack in the most untenable of positions, it can likewise be utilized to place a friendly one in the most fortunate. All the benefits of the already formidable Displacement spell are afforded to the caster, with the added bonus of access to the entire tactical map. Teleport is a Creature Spell available in both Dungeon Keeper and Dungeon Keeper 2 that teleports a creature to another place on the map instantly.
Teleporting is when a character is immediately transported from one location to another. There are multiple ways to be teleported:
* Walking into a Portal.
* Walking into some Mystic Flames.
* Getting teleported from Rookgaard to Island of Destiny
* Taking a Boat or Magic Carpet is technically teleporting, since there is no passage of time realized when using these services, but for roleplaying purposes, these are treated as if your character actually rode the ship or carpet to your destination.
* Gamemasters can teleport themselves on demand when they are needed to resolve a conflict or investigate a reported rule violation. They can also teleport you to your hometown.
* After an update where the map changes every player used to be teleported to their hometowns. (This was changed for the 7.8 update)
* Dying and being teleported back to your home temple.
* If you close your client in a quest place you'll be teleported to your hometown when logging in again. This is illegal however.
* If you log on to the game and the positional square you logged out from is occupied then you will be logged on in one of the available surrounding squares; if all of the surrounding squares are occupied then you will be logged on at your home temple, effectively being teleported there. This can be exploited, for example, by standing at a depot box, logging out, and having two people move in behind you as you log in again. Note however that this is exploiting a game weakness and is explicitly stated as being against the game rules. Teleporting using this method may get you banned from the game.
In tactical combat, position is nearly always the most critical factor. This spell is Displacement writ large. Not only can it be used to put a non-immune enemy stack in the most untenable of positions, it can likewise be utilized to place a friendly one in the most fortunate. All the benefits of the already formidable Displacement spell are afforded to the caster, with the added bonus of access to the entire tactical map. Kicking a charging melee stack to the far corner of the tactical map is merely an appetizer. You can also flip an enemy screening stack to a position behind the back row of ranged attackers or spellcasters, quite often forcing the back row to spend a turn moving aside instead of targeting your creatures and heroes. Where this spell truly shines is when it's used during seige combat to place a friendly stack on a cleared castle tower (perhaps having cast the cheaper displacement spell with another mage to clear the area), conferring the attack and defense bonuses to your newly positioned forces. In the Equilibris mod, Teleport is a fourth-level spell, and requires line-of-sight to the target.

The only working technological teleport systems seen in the series were the work of the System and the Keezarn civilisation, although Dorian's work in collaboration with the Seska came close. Avon, using his own knowledge and experience of the Liberator teleport, was able to make Dorian's system operational. Very few specifics of the teleport systems of the Liberator were ever given, apart from a reference to teleport transducers at one point. Teleports or teleporters are a map making technique that allows the ninja to instantly travel between different parts of a level by means of an extremely high powered launchpad. This is done by manually editing the text file of the level. As a result the launchpad propels it at such a speed that it travels considerable distance in a single frame. Between these frames it can bypass a solid object, including tileset walls. In order to stop ninja at its destination, a second launchpad must be used to cancel out its velocity. The second does not need to be modified, and it can point in any direction, regardless of where the ninja is traveling. The ninja must not reach its destination in just one frame, as it would not respond to the second launchpad. Instead it must use two or more frames. The ninja cannot touch the tileset walls during the interim frames, or it will die.

The teleport is a tile in Chip's Challenge that sends movable objects to another part of the level. When an object enters a teleport, it will exit out the next teleport in reverse wrappable reading order - right to left within any row, then moving on to the right of the next row to the north, and so on - in the opposite direction, assuming this is a legal move and the Teleport Skip Glitch has not been activated. In one of these cases, the game will continue to search for the next teleport which allows this move. Should the search reach the northwest corner, it will start over from the southeast corner. Should the search reach the original teleport, it will act as a non-directional ice tile - the object will slide across it if that move is legal, or bounce back if it is not.
