Strength is a general stat in Xenoblade Chronicles. Generally speaking, the higher a character's strength, the more damage will be done by their auto attacks and physical arts. Strength can be increased through skills, gems, arts buffs, and leveling up. High strength is very useful for characters like Reyn and Dunban, whose arts are mostly physical. It is less useful for characters like Melia and Sharla, whose arts are mostly Ether-based. Strength or STR, is one of six Attributes that a character's Stat Points can be spent on. Description Each damage of physical, shooting attack-power increases. STR, also written as Strength, is the stat that determines the player's attack value when using Swords, Axes, Two Handed Swords, Two Handed Axes, Yoyos, Staffs, Knuckles, and Sticks. Strength eli voima on earth eli maatyypin iskujen kuten Bramble, ja Pressure voiman antaja. Lisäksi se lisää maksimi kantamus taakkaa. Strength on intelligencen kannssa yleisin isku voiman antaja. n17:abstract
The Strength attribute has two main functions: 1. * As a Hero/ine gains strength, the damage dealt by a melee hit/strike increases.Specifically, added to each strike is a strength bonus of between 0 and (Hero/ine's strength - current weapon strength requirement);as Hero/ine strength, or weapon level, increases, so does the bonus damage. 2. * Strength acts as a “level limit” on weapons and armors, as they can only be used effectively when the Hero/ine has a certain amount of strength.Equipping weapons, or armor, that require more strength than the character currently has, will cause attacks and movement to be slowed. Strength is the measure of your character's physical power. If you choose the Dream Sword during Sora's Awakening in Kingdom Hearts, or the Struggle Sword during Roxas's Awakening in Kingdom Hearts II, your Strength will be given a boost. An item, Power Up in Kingdom Hearts and Power Boost in Kingdom Hearts II, is capable of increasing this stat, along with the Strength status of most weapons. Strength also increases as the character progresses up the level table. The actual Strength status of a character determines its overall physical power used to inflict damage to an enemy; the more the Strength value, the greater the damage inflicted to an enemy. Strength is a song from the tenth season. Strength was among the first skills available, introduced with RuneScape's launch on 4 January 2001, along with Attack, Defence, Hitpoints (now Constitution), Ranged, Cooking, Woodcutting, Firemaking, Smithing, and Mining. As the game has progressed, the concept of the skill has remained largely untouched. Since the skill's inception, increasingly higher tiers of equipment have been released. Bronze through adamant equipment were available since the introduction of the game itself, but rune equipment was not made available until 26 July 2001. Each successive tier of equipment offered increasing Strength bonuses, but none of them required a specific Strength level to equip. It was not until after the release of Regicide on 20 September 2004, the fourth part of the Plague City quest series, that the game saw a weapon which required a Strength level to wield. The quest introduced halberds, two handed weapons which were capable of engaging an opponent in melee combat around obstacles and from up to 2 tiles away. All halberds stronger than steel required a Strength level half of the Attack level required to wield the weapon. Until 26 January 2005, halberds remained the only weapon type which required a Strength level to equip. However, the release of Slayer introduced gargoyles, which dropped granite mauls, two-handed weapons which required 50 Attack and 50 Strength to equip. On 9 May 2005, the Barrows minigame was added, introducing two new weapons which required a Strength level to equip. Dharok's greataxe and Torag's hammers were two of six legendary weapons originally belonging to the Barrows brothers which could be obtained as a reward from the minigame. Both of these weapons required 70 Attack and Strength to wield, further increasing the maximum Strength level required to equip a weapon. Additionally, Dharok's greataxe, boasting a +105 Strength bonus, was the first weapon to exceed a +100 Strength bonus. Later that year, the TzHaar City was released and along with it, the Tzhaar-ket-om, colloquially known as the obsidian maul, was released. This was only the second maul to be released and, like the granite maul before it, required a Strength level to equip. Yet, unlike the granite maul, the obsidian maul did not have an Attack requirement, making it the first weapon to only require Strength to use. No new weapons which required Strength to wield were introduced until 6 March 2007, when the barrelchest anchor was released as a reward for the Great Brain Robbery quest. A powerful but slow weapon, the anchor required 40 Strength to equip, even though it offered a massive +100 Strength bonus. On 17 March 2009, another quest reward featured a weapon requiring a Strength level to use. The granite mace was the second granite weapon released, and required 50 Attack as well as Strength to wield. A host of new weapons were released with the Dungeoneering skill on 12 April 2010. Of these new weapons, one entire weapon type featured Strength prominently in its use. Novite through primal mauls required only Strength to wield and offered extremely high Strength bonuses. With a +166 Strength bonus, the primal maul was the strongest weapon in RuneScape. However, its use is restricted to Daemonheim. Before the Evolution of Combat, when fighting in the aggressive stance, Strength experience was awarded per hit, where is the amount of damage dealt. Fighting using the controlled stance, however, awards Strength experience per hit, where is the amount of damage dealt. For example, a player who hits a 10 would receive 4 Strength experience when fighting in the aggressive stance and 1.33 Strength experience when fighting in the controlled stance. The amount of experience received when fighting in the controlled stance may be calculated in the same way that experience awarded to the Constitution skill is calculated. The difference between these two stances is that the aggressive stance solely provides experience for the Strength and Constitution skills. However, the controlled stance distributes experience equally among Strength, Attack, Defence, and Constitution. A player who hits a 10 would receive 1.33 experience in each one of these skills. Additionally, fighting using the aggressive stance provides a hidden boost of +3 to the Strength skill while using the controlled stance only provides a boost of +1. However, with the release of the evolution of combat, the Strength skill was significantly changed along with all forms of combat. Combat experience is no longer gained from individual hits, but rather successful kills. Furthermore, the skill's effect on overall damage rating was tweaked. In early games, Vigor cannot be modified by equipment. Instead, a separate statistic known as Attack Power provided by the equipment is used to determine how powerful the equipment is. A character's Vigor and his or her weapon's Attack Power are usually combined to determine the character's true attack power. Many special physical abilities have set Battle Powers, and cannot be augmented by weapons, only by a character's Vigor stat. Strength increases your Earth damage and Earth resistance by 0.5% per point. In scorelore, strength is a score to which another score times itself. For byspel, is 2 * 2, or 4. is 2 * 2 * 2, or 8. Strength (STR) is a recurring stat, commonly the base from which Attack derives, unless Attack is an independant stat, in which case there is usually no Strength stat present. Strength plays a role in any form of meelee attack, but is meaningless for Marksmanship-based ranged attacks. This attribute increases the chance that a player will land a critical hit when scoring a task and increases the bonus gained from critical hits. It also increases damage dealt to bosses. A player of any class can increase their own Strength by allocating stat points to it or by equipping armor and weapons that provide a bonus to the STR stat. Warriors and Rogues gain an additional class bonus for wearing the STR-providing weapons and helms that are specifically intended for their class. Warriors can use the skill Valorous Presence to buff their own and their party mates' Strength by an amount determined by their own unbuffed Strength. Strength is one of the basis character statistics, it increases the amount of damage you do in melee combat and determines which melee weapons and crossbows the player character may wield. Strength can be increased by different means, you can pay trainers to train your strength until you reach the score of 100 points. Before and after the score of 100, you can increase the strength of the Nameless hero by: * You can also drink potions of strength to increase your strength by 5 points. * By eating apples or eggs with a max of 5 strength points. * Eating Ogreroots to incease your strength by 1. The word strength is also sometimes used to describe the toughness of certain objects. For example, Superman is often called the Man of Steel, because he has strength like steel (actually stronger). It can also be used to refer to a person of good character (strength of character), as well as a person's inner strength, or his will power. The Super Friends taught Marvin and Wendy that brain power is superior to brute strength. Strength(ストレングス(力)Sutorengusu) is the Stand of Forever featured in Stardust Crusaders. Increase damage dealt in melee combat and also increases your critical hit chance with melee attacks. Prior to Star Wars: The Old Republic: Knights of the Fallen Empire this was the primary stat of the Jedi Knight and Sith Warrior. With the release of KotFE all classes use Mastery as their primary stat. Image:Icon-strength.gif Strength is used in determining HP, increases the maximum weight that can be carried by 0.5s for every point of strength, and adds a 0.1 to melee damage modifier for every 5 points of strength. Training strength largely relies upon direct combat skills - equipping a very weak weapon (like a paper sword) and attacking an enemy too weak to kill you can train strength. Weight Lifting is also a good way to gain strength slowly over time - you just need to keep yourself in the "Burden" state and you passively gain Strength experience every turn. Eating any kind of corpse trains your strength a little, as does bread/flour. An increase in Strength triggers the message "Your muscles feel stronger." A decrease in Strength triggers the message "Your muscles soften." Strength can be levelled up to 99. Experience is gained by successfully hitting an oppenent. To gain Strength experience a player needs to set his combat style a certain way: * Pummel (Maces, Warhammers) * Slash (Swords, Claws, Scimitars) * Hack (Hatchets, Battleaxes) * Lunge (Daggers) * Swipe (Halberds, Spears) * Impale (Pickaxes) Strength increases the base melee damage of your character. Strength affects the amount of Physical attack power a character can deal. It can generally be modified using equipment. Various abilities and equipment can alter the Strength stat. Strength can be increased between 1-5 points by using the Seal of Strength item, though the bonus added varies between games. Strength is a skill that can be trained using the agressive attack style on a weapon. The higher your strength level is, the higher your hits will be. STR, also written as Strength, is the stat that determines the player's attack value when using Swords, Axes, Two Handed Swords, Two Handed Axes, Yoyos, Staffs, Knuckles, and Sticks. Power is one of 6 core attributes. Power defines the basic physical strength and affects physical damage inflicted on enemies during combat. As with any attribute, Power can be altered by Consumable items, such as Food, Potions, or by Spells. Strength (Str) is one of the five rolled Stats. Strength is a measure of the physical power of a player character or mob. Strength plays an important role for all Races, Classes, and playstyles. Strength is known to affect the following attributes: * Offensive bonus (OB) * Parry bonus (PB) * Damage * Weapon selection (heaver weapons require higher Strength to wield - see below) * Encumbrance (with Con); this also indirectly impacts OB, PB, DB, and MVs regen. * Warrior skill practices (with Dex, Con) * Hunter skill practices (with Int, Wil, Dex) Strength is one of your character stats. Strength points (SP) with Intelligence points also, make you a more productive worker. SP are used also in your Fight coefficient calculation. You can grow your SP level by eating Meat (1piece of meat = +2SP, +2HP) You must have 20 strength to obtain level 2 and 60 strength to obtain level 3. Strength also affects field productivity in wheat and corn fields. The damage bonus conferred from leveling up Strength decreases drastically once 40 Strength is exceeded. Strength is a skill in RuneScape Classic . It is a combat skill that allows you to hit higher damage on monsters. To Train your Strength skill, you must kill something while either Aggressive or Controlled stance. The amount of strength experience gained while in Aggressive stance can be found using this formula: While in Controlled stance, the experience is divided between the three skills (Attack, Strength, and Defense), so you instead use this formula: In both cases, H = the amount of Hits experience received from the kill. This is different for each opponent, and unlike in RuneScape 2, is unrelated to the opponents' Hits. Strength is one of the six character abilities. It's a very important character ability for fighters, paladins, rangers and barbarians. It determines how often a character hits with his weapons in combat, how much damage is delivered, how much a character can carry and a chance to open doors or chest without lockpicking. It also affects which items a character may use which are in range of the chosen class. Strength is one of the twelve spells available for casting in The Citadel of Chaos. It is useful in increasing the physical strength of the caster, making him more capable in battle, or more able to undertake tasks such as breaking down doors or leaping across wide chasms. Strength or STR, is one of six Attributes that a character's Stat Points can be spent on. Description Each damage of physical, shooting attack-power increases. Strength is a skill that determines how hard you hit (amount of damage). When using melee, there is normally an option to train strength, instead of attack, defence, or Shared XP. This article is a . Abbreviation: STR * A stat that is compared with an enemy's vitality to determine the base damage of a character's attacks. * Strength also has a direct impact on a character's attack and Ranged Attack. * For every 2 points STR increase a character has, his/her attack and Ranged Attack value is raised by 1 point. However, when using a Two-Handed Weapon, for every 4 points of STR, your attack value is raised by about 3 (.75 per one point of STR). Associated with the element of Fire. Many fire-based items add STR to a character's Stats. Example: Ifrit's Blade Strength is the fourth and last ending theme for the anime Soul Eater. It is performed by the band Abingdon Boys School, fronted by TM Revolution, with lyrics by TM Revolution, composition by Toshiyuki Kishi, and arrangement by Epic Records Japan. The song served as the ending theme for Episodes 40 to 50. This ending demonstrates how far Asura's Madness has spread globally, with both heroes and villains injured while their world collapses into chaos. Strength is an essential stat in the game of Powerpets, both in order to qualify for Supreme Elite status and in order to have an effective pet in the Powerdome, where pets can fight other pets or certain characters in the game world. Strength is also needed to increase the amount of armour your pet can have when armouring at the Armory, located in North New Barkston. In order to increase strength, players can feed their pets slime or have them eat or play with radioactive items. Slime can be picked up in the Northern Woods in North New Barkston or purified from the Slime Purifier in Mini City; radioactive items can be bought from players, shops or won from different quests and games. However, be aware that the effect of slime and radioactive items on increasing a Pet's Strength can only go so far. In order to further enhance a pet's strength, players will eventually have to use the Berry Box and feed pets items that are obtained from there. Strength is a Character Attribute. It influences a hero's damaging capabilities in melee combat, and is also a measure of how heavy their equipment can be and still be utilized to its fullest. Generally, a unit must take at least 1 point of damage per attack, regardless of the its armor or lack thereof. However, there are exceptions, such as attackers without anti-air capabilities, like Infantry or Lookouts, trying to damage aircraft, or units engaging a target with a significant technological advantage, such as Riflemen shooting at a Battleship. Strength is one of your character's nine physical stats. Note that strength does not affect how much you can carry (see endurance). The following skills are governed by this stat: * Club (×2) * Agriculture * Survival * Timbercraft * Climbing * Skiing * Swimming * Shield * Sword * Axe * Flail * Spear * Bow * Unarmed Decent Strength is recommended unless the character is exclusively going to use daggers and crossbows as all the other combat related skills are governed by Strength. Strength checks occur more often in graveyards and mountains. For Fighters, Paladins, and Rangers, their Strength bonus contributes to their Attack Bonus. Strength is a skill in which when developed it increases your maximum damage towards the one your facing. Strength is one of the key ingredients of creatinga worthy stand to your opponent as when you develope your combat you'll require higher standards of damage. Attack doesn't actually necessarily help strength but has a strength bonus which indeed does boost your damage. Attack is mainly a skill to help increase the melee accuracy "how often you hit damage". A true player in combat will require all the skills and have a good mix instead of the ones focusing on strength based Rnge 2h. Strength doesn't increase the chance of hitting armour that is stronger then your weapon as that is attacks job. Currently strength is the most common skillcape in all of RuneScape. Strength is a measure of the character's average physical strength -- his or her ability to lift, carry, and cause physical harm. Those with a high Strength rating are usually larger than those with a lower rating. Strength is one of three stats for Trolls. A Strength penalty, but not a bonus, applies to attacks made with ranged weapons unless they have the Mighty item property Type-205, codenamed "Strength," (ストレングス) was a hulking, masked, chainsaw-wielding humanoid abomination created by Goldman as a suicidal gladiator to pit against AMS agents James and Gary. It served as the fourth boss in The House of the Dead 2. Prior to the boss fight, Strength had confronted and captured Amy Crystal and Harry Harris, severely injuring Harry in the process. When James and Gary reached the city's coliseum, Goldman appeared on a large screen and mocked them both, then summoned Strength from within its cage. The creature was fought in a huge labyrinth concealed in the coliseum itself, and its weak point was its head. Strength began the battle by charging at the agents, attempting to tear them apart with its chainsaw. James and Gary were able to hurt the monstrosity by shooting its vulnerable head, and after a while, Strength started crashing through walls to try and surprise its opponents. As well as this, it would often climb up onto the labyrinth walls and leap down onto the agents. After some time, Strength kept its distance and hurled two massive axes which were stuck in its body (visible at the beginning of the fight, and at the end if Strength does not throw them), which had to be quickly shot down. Strength's movements became faster as it took damage, and it also started protecting its head by swinging its chainsaw around crazily before slashing. After receiving one bullet too many, the undead giant finally collapsed and died permanently. James and Gary then returned to the cage from where Strength had emerged and were reunited with Amy and Harry. Harry then gave James (or Gary) the key to his car, located at point A0063. Strength also appeared as one of the Emperor's attacks. Some years ago while I was on the mechanical engineering staff at my former university (University of Witwatersrand, South Africa (also known as ) File:Flag of South Africa.svg), I was asked if I could co-supervise the research of a postgraduate student from the physiotherapy department, because she had opted to study changes in strength with certain types of conditioning and one of my specialisations is the biomechanics of strength. My first questions to her were: "What type of strength do you wish to study and how are you going to measure it?". Her response was one of amazement. After all isn't all strength the same? Isn't strength just the ability of the body to produce maximum force? Wouldn't it just be measured with some isokinetic machine like the 'Cybex'? I attempted to explain that strength is not that simple, even though everyone appears to have a very adequate intuitive grasp of the concept. Furthermore, I stressed that strength as measured isokinetically does not necessarily relate directly to strength as exhibited in real sport. During the hours that we spent discussing this issue, this poor student expressed her utter frustration that, despite having studied all about strength during her basic degree at a top university, she had never been taught any of the finer details of what strength really is. This student's experience is by no means unique. From my involvement with thousands of other students, personal trainers and coaches throughout the world, I have found that the full scope of strength and strength training is very superficially understood and that many struggle to define strength beyond the belief that it "is the ability of the body to produce maximum force." While some may think that accurate definitions are pedantic and unnecessary, it is essential to point out that what is left out of a simplistic definition may be precisely what hinders you from fully understanding and applying any given method of training and testing... Let us first correct that basic definition that strength is the ability of the body to produce maximum force. It is not! Strength is the ability of the body to produce force; the ability of the body to produce maximum force is maximum strength. Even then, this implies that strength is some sort of general property of human capability, which totally ignores the fact that strength depends on the way in which it is produced or measured. After all, we frequently are exposed to arguments about who is the strongest type of person - the weightlifter, the powerlifter, the wrestler, the footballer, the manual labourer, the Highland Games contestant, a world Strongman competitor....? If we are quite objective we have to recognise that there is no universal way of proving strength superiority because one may be strong in one test, but relatively weak in another. It is apparent that the production of "strength" depends on the test, the movements involved, motor skill, the duration of the test, the weight of the person, and several other such factors. In short, all strength is contextual or situational. So what does one generally do when a client approaches you to develop sport specific"strength", "functional strength", "core strength" or rotator cuff strength? Well, you design a programme based upon your personal education and experience, often almost reflexively choosing to use Olympic lifting methods, circuit training, machine training, HIT ("High Intensity Training"), plyometrics and so forth, depending more often on personal bias than a thorough, objective analysis of what is involved. Your client might be an experienced athlete like a gymnast, boxer or martial artist who challenges you with the very real point that most of the best performers in their sports never use weights, so how can doing a power clean, balancing on a ball or using a resistance machine really improve their sport specific strength? Anecdotes about all the results you have achieved may be to no avail because your client might detect that you do not fully understand the nature of the specific forms of strength (and power) required. This is yet another reason why it is vital to understand the whole spectrum of what strength really is. This player attribute governs: Being the raw muscle power of a Character, Strength determines how much physical damage the Character can inflict with a blow. As well as how many blows he or she can withstand; how many items he or she can carry; and how far any given item can be hurled. Some weapons have a minimum Strength requirement to operate them effectively; a person without sufficient brute Strength will be unable to wield them. The abbreviation for Strength is given as "ST". Derived Statistics: Hit Points: Each point spent on Strength equals +2 hit points. Carry Weight - This is the maximum weight that the Character is capable of carrying. (The unit of measure for weight is "stones", as defined in Appendix One, the Glossary.) The greater the Strength of the Character, the more he or she can carry. Damage Bonus - A person of great Strength can inflict a great deal of punishment in any unarmed or melee attack. There can also be a penalty-which is to say, a negative adjustment to damage--for Characters with a lower measure of Strength. A halfling's fist does far less harm than that of a half-ogre! Strength measures your character’s muscle and physical power. This ability is especially important for fighters, barbarians, paladins, rangers, and monks because it helps them prevail in combat. Strength also limits the amount of equipment your character can carry. -Melee attack rolls. -Damage rolls when using a melee weapon or a thrown weapon (including a sling). These are the skills that have Strength as their key ability. -Strength checks (for breaking down doors and the like). -Carrying Capacity -Grapple and Bull Rush checks Frontline melee characters will want a Strength score of around a 14 minimum, and this is usually recomended to be the highest stat. Other characters usually put this stat at 14 for the highest, usually more towards 12 or lower. A character's Strength stat determines the severity of the damage doled out whenever Melee-based attacks are used. A character's Size is also used in determining melee-based damage. Tipping our hat to the laws of physics, the larger the character, the more damage they do. The difference in size between the attacker and the attackee is also factored in. For example, when a very large character punches a very small character, it will hurt the poor little guy a lot more than if the attacker were to punch someone larger. Strength measures the muscle and physical power of a character. This ability is especially important for fighters, barbarians, paladins, rangers, and monks because it helps them prevail in combat. Skills: The skill to which the strength modifier is added is discipline. Classes: The class with features affected by strength is purple dragon knight. Specials: The strength modifier is added to most melee attack and damage rolls, both subject to provisions detailed below. The strength score is used to determine how much weight a character can carry before becoming encumbered. Boosts: The standard methods for boosting strength include aura of vitality, bull's strength, barbarian rage, defensive stance, and the pale blue ioun stone. Strength tends to be of some importance to all characters, as encumbrance limits can be a major irritation, and the limits for the lowest strength scores are not always sufficient for what some players consider "normal" gear, much less that gear plus the loot to be carried out of a dungeon. For characters who focus on melee combat, though, strength is of greater importance, as a high strength causes more hits and more damage per hit. As a result, strength-based characters (those striving for as high a strength as feasible, once the other abilities are at acceptable levels) tend to be good choices for new players and those who prefer to keep the game simple, as well as those who just enjoy the massive damage. Even those who take a different approach to melee combat (such as the more defensive dexterity-based approach) generally find value in strength for the bonus to damage. While the strength modifier is normally added to melee attack rolls, weapon finesse allows the dexterity modifier to be used instead if certain weapons are being wielded. The bonus to damage from strength can be affected by several considerations. The "normal" situation is adding the strength modifier to damage inflicted by a melee weapon or by certain thrown weapons (specifically, darts and throwing axes). Other ranged weapons place a limit on how much of the strength modifier can be added to damage, often preventing any addition at all; see mighty. Furthermore, a two-handed weapon, excluding double-sided weapons, adds 1.5 times the strength modifier to damage, while an off-hand weapon adds only half the modifier. (Fractions are rounded down.) Double-sided weapons are a special case because their ends are treated separately, with hits from the main-hand side adding the (full) modifier to damage, and hits from the off-hand side adding half the modifier. Another consideration (besides the type of weapon used) is that the game engine forces each successful hit to inflict at least one point of physical damage, so there is a limit to how much a negative strength modifier can impact damage. One consequence of the way strength modifies damage for different types of weapons is that a character with lower strength tends to inflict more damage when dual-wielding, while one with a higher strength tends to inflict more with a two-handed weapon. The dividing line between these cases is not simple to specify, but it is related to how the strength modifier compares to the damage from other sources (e.g. base damage of the weapon). Strength is on of the Stats each character has. The Strength attribute enhances a Warrior when using attack skills. This is a primary attribute and may not be used by secondary warriors. This is an important damage attribute for both warriors and archers. Strength is mainly relied upon by Berserkers(spear), Last Survivors (2-handed swords) and all archers, where as the Penetrating shield depends on threat ratio (the amount of damage and need to attack you a monster reads on your character) to cause the target to attack them and keep them on while in a party. The Strength stat boosts a character's melee damage (except for ego blades), melee knockback strength, knockback resistance, and the maximum size of environmental objects a character can lift. Strength is a rough measurement of the fighting prowess of a unit in the Civilization games. Prior to Civilization IV, Strength was divided into "Attack" and "Defense." Civilization V introduced different types of Strength for melee and ranged attacks, and Civilization VI introduced three new types of Strength. Like Geshumaru, Strength uses mechanized weaponry. Her arms are made up of two huge mechanical arms called "Ogre Arm". She has a robotic tail with a vertebrae-like design that can move freely and her feet are metal stilts. Players may receive Strength experience during combat, and the amount of experience gained is dependent on the attack style being used. Of the four melee attack styles available, Strength experience is only awarded when fighting in the aggressive or controlled stances. When fighting in the aggressive stance, Strength experience is awarded per hit, where is the amount of damage dealt. Fighting using the controlled stance, however, awards Strength experience per hit, where is the amount of damage dealt. For example, a player who hits a 1 would receive 4 Strength experience when fighting in the aggressive stance and 1.33 Strength experience when fighting in the controlled stance. The amount of experience received when fighting in the controlled stance may be calculated in the same way that experience awarded to the Hitpoints skill is calculated. The difference between these two stances is that the aggressive stance solely provides experience for the Strength and Hitpoints skills, whereas the controlled stance distributes experience equally among Strength, Attack, Defence, and Hitpoints. A player who hits a 1 would receive 1.33 experience in each one of these skills. Power) is a character stat that affects the amount of damage that the character inflicts when using a physical (non-magic) attack weapon. Strength is one of the two major contributing factors to Attack Power, the other being the Might of the weapon being used. The higher the strength a unit possesses, the more damage that unit will inflict, except for Crossbows. In Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Strength is also used to calculate Attack Speed. The higher a unit's strength, the heavier the weapon can be before the unit suffers an attack speed penalty. Units like Fighters, Warriors, Pirates, Berserkers, Knights, Generals, etc. usually have large amounts of strength. Strength is very good at slicing through an enemy's Defense. Units such as Thieves, Pegasus Knights, Myrmidons and Swordmasters usually have low strength. Magic units usually possess lower strength because they use magic, instead. In Fire Emblems 1, 2, 3 and the GBA games, however, units who used magic did not have a strength stat at all. The magic stat, in this case, replaced strength altogether instead of being a separate stat alongside it. Karel (in FE6) has the highest strength growth in the entire series, numbering at 130%. Others with exceedingly high strength growths (80% or above) include Manaketes like Fae or Myrrh, human characters such as Wolf and Sedgar (with the proper classes in Shadow Dragon), several characters in FE12 reclassed to Warriors (e.g. Luke, Sirius, Ymir), Walhart, some children of Donnel , Effie, and generally every inheritor of Hezul holy blood. Furthermore, a stronger Hero can carry more items, which can become indispensable in games that have many heavy items, such as Quest for Glory II and Quest for Glory V. Lastly, certain obstacles require a feat of Strength to overcome, and your Strength is drawn against your success at that overcoming said obstacle. Strength is one of the seven primary statistics in the SPECIAL system. Strength measures a character's muscle and physical power. This ability is especially important for fighters, barbarians, paladins, rangers, and monks because it helps them prevail in combat. Strength also limits the amount of equipment a character can carry (see encumbrance). Strength modifiers are applied to: * Melee attack rolls (unless the character has Weapon Finesse and higher Dexterity) * Damage rolls when using a melee weapon or a thrown weapon (including a sling). Exceptions: * Off-hand attacks receive only one-half the character's Strength bonus, rounded down. * Two-handed attacks receive one and a half times the Strength bonus, rounded down. * A Strength bonus is only applied to ranged weapons that are not thrown when they have the Mighty item property. * A character with the Combat Insight epic feat uses Intelligence for damage rolls. * Strength checks * Total encumbrance Strength is usually the best trait for a Waster, and thus for Wasting. It is mainly used for showing how much damage a car can inflict, but does not necessarily indicate that it can inflict the most damage. Strength is one of the six ability scores, a minimum natural score of 15 or 17 is required for fighter, ranger and shadowdancer dual-class combinations. This score adjusts to-hit and damage for all melee weapons as well as modifying damage for sling, thrown axes, daggers and hammers, it also determines weight capability and which equipment a character may wield plus the ability to bash doors, chests, though not as effective or rewarding as thieves' lock-picking skill. High strength will allow a character to bluff (checks are hidden) in some dialogues. Strength is a Bravery deck specific effect card. You can use it to give 3 extra attack to a monster, it's advised to use this on a monster with high hp, attack, or a taunt if you want whatever monster is attacking to be gravely injured or killed. Alternatively it can be used to give monsters such as Pyrope a higher attack to protect from Muffet's Pet. It can also be saved up and stacked with Aaron's Secret on a single monster to deal large amounts of damage at once. Soul Type: Bravery Cost: 1 Effect: Give 3 attack to a monster. Rarity: White (Common) Strength is one of the most popular skills. Strength has a huge impact on the amount of damage you put on your opponent. It also has requirements of wielding weapons and or equipment. Strength is one of the main attributes in ADOM, the value displayed to the right of your character's name. Strength is a Magnus in Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean. Strength (S) is an indication of how powerful that creature is and how much damage it can cause in combat. Characters with high S cause considerable damage; characters with low S relatively little. S is normally expressed as a number between 1 and 10. For tests, S reflects the character's physical strength; it can be used whenever a character applies brute force - for example, when lifting a very heavy object or trying to bend iron bars. Strength is a character's physical power. The d20 SRD defines Strength by "Strength measures your character’s muscle and physical power." Alternate names: Physique, Muscle (Toon). Strength was created by Goldman to be a suicidal gladiator against his adversaries. James and Gary were able to hurt the monstrosity by shooting its vulnerable head, and after a while Strength started crashing through walls to try and surprise its opponents. As well as this, it would often climb up onto the labyrinth walls and leap down onto the agents. After some time, Strength kept its distance and hurled two massive axes which were stuck in its body (visible at the beginning of the fight, and at the end if Strength does not throw them), which had to be be quickly shot down. Strength's movements became faster as it took damage, and it also started protecting its head by swinging its chainsaw around crazily before slashing. After receiving one bullet too many, the undead giant finally collapsed and died. James and Gary then returned to the cage from where Strength had emerged and were reunited with Amy and Harry. Harry then gave James the keys to his car. The Emperor also used Strength as one of its alternative forms during the final battle of the game. Strength (ST): The ability to overpower enemies or to lift, move, and break items. This is important in hand-to-hand combat and in physical tasks such as breaking down doors. Source: Wasteland manual Strength (Str) measures a character’s physical power. Strength is the key ability for Athletics skill checks. Melee basic attacks are based on Strength, as are ranged basic attacks with heavy thrown weapons. Strength determines the weight for your carrying, lifting and dragging capacities. In addition, a character's Strength modifier or Constitution modifier, whichever is higher, will contribute to Fortitude defense. Strength and Constitution are redundant with each other for the purpose of Fortitude defense, but Constitution has the additional benefit of improving hit points and healing surges. For this reason, Strength can be a dump stat for characters who don't depend on Strength for attack rolls, class features, or skill checks. Classes with Strength as a primary key ability barbarian cleric (battle cleric) fighter paladin ("straladin") ranger (melee) runepriest warden warlord Classes with Strength as a secondary key ability cleric (Wis primary, storm domain warpriest) rogue (Dex primary, Brutal Scoundrel or Ruthless Ruffian scoundrel, or thief) Races with a bonus to Strength human dwarf, goliath, minotaur, mul, orc, warforged (Str/Con) bugbear, half-orc, thri-kreen (Str/Dex) genasi (Str/Int) goliath, minotaur, shifter (longtooth), svirfneblin (Str/Wis) dragonborn, vryloka (Str/Cha) Strength eli voima on earth eli maatyypin iskujen kuten Bramble, ja Pressure voiman antaja. Strength is one of the six raw abilities, but it is not employed by psy-reliant characters such as your Hero. However, the Hero can increase his strength from the trainer when he aquires a physical attack(such as the knife given to you by Al'Al if you choose to work with him.) Increasing your strngeth sill also contribute towards experiemce for a level up. Strength is a measure of physical prowess, and determines the base damage of physical attacks. Some characters, such as swordsmen and bowmen, have physical attacks enhanced by psy techniques, in which case the damage of the attack may be a mixture of Strength and Psy Power. The other raw abilities are: * Psy Power * Psy Defense * Personality * Aptitude * Speed Physical strength. How much damage you can do with melee weapons and how much you can carry. Also increases shove distance. The physical attack power of a character, which determines a party member's capability to inflict larger amounts of melee damage. This attribute is typically increased by equipping Weapons with a higher value, however certain Rings, Skills and Spells have the ability to raise melee damage also. Strength is formulated into the Attack attribute, which refers solely to melee capabilities. Strength is a Status Effect which allows a character to temporarily deal increased damage when using melee attacks. Each level adds three damage to the attack; unlike Enchantments, it stacks with critical hits. Strength is "[a] cryptographic mechanism's level of resistance to attacks." Strength provides extra damage when attacking with weapons Bonus is * floor(Strength / 2) Example of Strength of 3 * floor(3/2) = floor(1.5) or 1 bonus damage for Example of Strength of 7 * floor(7/2) = floor(3.5) or 3 bonus damage for Every player, forest monster, master and the Red Dragon has a strength. Strength defines how hard an attack hits an opponent and therefore how much damage it does. Strength represents a character's physical strength, endurance and health. Characters with a high Strength can lift heavy objects, push themselves for days without rest and are good at resisting disease and injury. A character with a low Strength gets winded very easily. Strength flows into the calculation of Vitality: (CN + CN + ST)/2 + modifiers __NOEDITSECTION__ If no weapons or animal orbs that boost strength are equipped, the base damage is 37-43 damage. Kategori:Skills
