The Tripartite Empire, or the Tripire, was a government formed in 175 ABY by three Sith Lords who defected from the One Sith Order. They were actually baited to do it by the Dark Lord of the Sith and head of the Order, Darth Wyyrlok IV. They caused a conflict with the Galactic Federation Triumvirate known as the Sith Resurgence. Their military managed to conquer half of the Outer Rim Territories and parts of the Expansion Region as well as the Mid Rim. Two of the Sith, Darth Vindicator and Darth Xul, died during the conflict. Both deaths were indirectly or directly caused by Suvorov Palpatine, the Chairman of the Senate of the Galactic Federation. In 178 ABY, the Tripire was losing badly. That was why the last remaining leader, Darth Messor, decided to accept Suvorov's offer to merge with
