At that time the tribe was undergoing a crisis; The previous leader had been killed before he passed on the secret of making fire to his son Za. As a result, Za's leadership of the tribe was in question and Kal hoped to take advantage of the situation. Kal saw his chance when he observed the First Doctor emerge from the Doctor's TARDIS, and later saw him produce fire by striking a match on a rock and breathing smoke through a pipe. Minos is a small planetoid near Mars. Kal was a sapper in Sergeant Jumpy's squad of saboteurs in the Malaz 4th Army. Kategorie: Doctor Who Personen Kategorie: Gegenspieler des DoctorsKategorie: Menschen Kal was a God of War, just like Ares, from Italia who was the owner and protector of the two Chakrams: the Chakram of Light and the Dark Chakram. He and Ares have a chequered history: Ares stole the Dark Chakram from him and gave it to Xena, which strongly angered Kal. He returned to him years later, after Xena had been ressurected from the dead by Eli and the Dark Chakram broken by Callisto. He hoped to get his hands on the Chakram of Light, which had the power to kill gods. However, the Chakram could only be lifted by someone with a pure soul, since the Dark Charkram was absent from the altar and was therefore out of balance. Many died trying to retrieve the Chakram (including Eli's friend Calib). Kal was a planet. In 1,480 BBY, the planet collided with the planet Sina, which resulted in the formation of Kasina. Kal was an Eloi living in the Domed Pavillion in 802,701. He knew Narra Morris. ("Beyond the Time Machine") Kal was a God of War, just like Ares, from Italia who was the owner and protector of the two Chakrams: the Chakram of Light and the Dark Chakram. Since they both had a common goal (to wield the power to kill gods), they decided to put their differences aside and work together to lure an amnesiac Xena into the Chakram's temple to lift the Chakram of Light from the altar. However, when Xena did eventually restore the Chakram, she used the Chakram of Light to kill Kal, before fusing the two Chakrams together, which got rid of the power to kill gods and created a brand new Chakram with the ability to split in half and act as two different weapons. Kal is the main antagonist in Halloweentown II: Kalabar's Revenge. He's the son of Kalabar, taking revenge on the Cromwells for destroying his dad and casting the gray spell on Halloweentown and the creature spell on the mortal world. As noted by himself, he inherited his father's attraction to the Cromwell witches; Marnie easily fell for him at first sight. Like most users of magic, Kal does obey the Code of Merlin and doesn't steal spells to use for himself. It would seem he didn't heavily inherit his father's dark side, along with an ego. He crowned himself at the Halloween party. He was voted king for his great costume. Marnie manages to cause all his plotting to backfire by breaking the portal between the worlds' limitation of being only open on Halloween. He challenges her to take back Aggie's spellbooks, which she does do. He takes off in a fury. Though Luke guesses that they haven't see the last of Kal, it is since he had appears again. He was played by Antonio Te Maioho and is totally original with no parallels in mythology– the Latin war god was Mars, a less bloodthirsty version of Ares. Space Pilot Colonel Rulak serves the totalitarian nation of Europa in the year 2200. Rulak is caught reads books from the 20th century, with stories of a "world of freedom, men unwatched by thought control!" He is caught reading one of these banned books, and is ordered to report to the Supreme Warlord, Ates. Ates tells Rulak to investigate some scientists who escaped in a rocket ship and vanished when Europa conquered Amerika. The field of search is narrowed down to the planet, Minos. Minos is a small planetoid near Mars. Obeying orders, Colonel Rulak flies to Minos. After some searching, he discovers a woman there. The woman takes Rulak to President Kal, wise and kind ruler of Minos. Rulak tells the president of his positive impressions of the idyllic society, noting their one flaw as theft of the rocket. Kal says they took the rocket, and cannot permit Rulak to return to Earth and send conquerors. In lieu of allowing him to leave, Kal offers Rulak a chance to live a pleasant life on Minos. As they are talking, one of the men of Minos informs them another rocketship has arrived. Rulak goes to meet with the men of Europawho followed him to the planetoid. He pleads the case the people of Minos should be permitted to live as they have been. The captain of the ship is only interested in returning the able bodies for Europa's labor camps to mine uranium. Rulak quickly climbs into their ship and smashes their radio equipment so they can't communicate with Earth. The men restrain Rulak, but the woman shows up with other people to rescue him. The men from Europa are taken to Kal, who wishes to have them freed. Rulak tells the president they can't be trusted. The captain takes out a "fission gun" and takes Rulak captive again. Returning him to their ship, Rulak again argues the case for the people of Minos. The captain won't have it, so Rulak fights them again. Rulak pushes one of the soldiers into the jet stream of the waiting craft. The captain orders the men to push Rulak into the jet stream. He turns tables on the spies and trips them into the jet stream, and the two remaining men from Europa are burnt to death. Rulak returns to Earth, telling Ates how the men died in an accident, and the planet Minos has no minerals or people to exploit. He is saddened Minos and the woman are forever lost to him, as if he returned it would mean Europa would know of the society there. Supreme Warlord Ates decides to punish Colonel Rulak for reading banned books by stationing him on the desolate, lonely planet of Minos. A l'époque, la tribu traversait une crise.
