Fenric did have a body, one with a thousand limbs that stretched across several dimensions, (AUDIO: Gods and Monsters) but like many Old Ones lost it and became dependent on possessing others. He could presumably inhabit any body in any time, possibly killing the original consciousness if suppressed long enough. (AUDIO: Black and White) If a body became too weak, he would transfer into another. He was able to teleport and could cause lightning strikes. While imprisoned, he was still aware of events outside the Shadow Dimensions and could move people through time and space in time storms, whilst also influencing their destinies without them knowing. These individuals, who had been touched by the curse of Fenric, were known as the Wolves of Fenric. (TV: The Curse of Fenric) He was able to control an army of Haemovores, though this was a drain on his mind, and he was able to bestow free will onto individual creatures. (AUDIO: Gods and Monsters) However, Fenric was still able to manipulate human minds and events through time and space. He set up pawns, bloodlines of families that were under his control and he could use, "The Curse of Fenric" stretching down through generations. These people were known as the "Wolves of Fenric", and their true purpose was unknown even to them. He also had the power to summon Haemovores, vampires which were to be the evolutionary destiny of mankind in a possible far future. The haemovores were strong enough to be able to weld metal with their bare hands, and were also immune to bullets. They could be countered, however, with a psychic barrier caused by faith. Eventually, the flask was brought to a military base in Northumberland in 1942, where several Wolves, including the Doctor's companion Ace, were manipulated into freeing Fenric from his flask. He also summoned the Ancient One, the last of the Haemovores from the future, in an attempt to poison the world with a deadly chemical toxin. Fenric then revealed that he had manipulated the Seventh Doctor's life upon several occasions as part of his game, including creating the time storm that originally took Ace to Iceworld and influencing Lady Peinforte in her attempt to gain the power of the Nemesis statue. Eventually, the Doctor convinced the Ancient One to turn on Fenric; the Ancient One then destroyed Fenric and himself with the same toxin. The Virgin New Adventures novel All-Consuming Fire by Andy Lane also equates Fenric with the Cthulhu Mythos entity Hastur the Unspeakable. Fenric and his Haemovores return in the 2012 Big Finish Productions audio story, Gods and Monsters. Tier: 2-C when limiting himself, 1-C at full power Name: Fenric, Hastur the Unspeakable, Aboo-Fenrán, the Wolf, the Hunger Gender: Refered to as male, though likely none Age: At least billions of years old Classification: Great Old One, intelligence of pure evil Powers and Abilities: Higher dimensional existence, intangibility, cosmic awareness, possession, telepathy, telekinesis, reality warping, time manipulation, immortality, spatial manipulation, energy manipulation, lightning manipulation, teleportation, create life Attack Potency: Multi-Universe level when limiting himself, Complex Multiverse level at full power (Similar in power to the Great Intelligence at his best) Durability: Multi-Universe level when limiting himself, Complex Multiverse level at full power Stamina: Infinite Range: Complex Multiversal Standard Equipment: Unknown Intelligence: Likely nigh-omniscient Weaknesses: Needs to limit himself in order to manipulate universes, otherwise his full power would destroy the multiverse, If he possesses a body for too long they grow weak. Fenric is the name for Hastur in the universe of Doctor Who. Originally an unconnected Great Old One-like being in the story 'The Curse of Fenric', named for the great wolf Fenrir in Norse myth, it was identified as Hastur in the New Adventures novel All-Consuming Fire.
