General Zod General Zod
rdfs:comment
General Zod is a Kryptonian, and a significant adversary to the House of El. __TOC__ General Zod, or (as his parents named him) Rufus T. Zodsky (for which he never forgave them) was a totally evil, cool, awesome and British Kryptonian supervillain from the planet Krypton in the Krypton system who inexplicably looked like Terence Stamp. Born during an earthquake started by a certain guy who's name begins with "S"'s father, the gravitational flux ended up squishing the future Zod and leaving him permanently at the height of three-feet-three inches. This gave him a bizarre psychological obsession to force people to bow down before him so that he could see them eye-to-eye, which produced quite a god complex in the little man. Imprisoned for attempting to overthrow the inept Kryptonian hippy council, Zod (with comic sidekicks Ursa and Non) was banished into the Phantom Zone, wh Dru-Zod was a Silver Age character. He is portrayed as a megalomaniacal Kryptonian, in charge of the military forces on Krypton. He had known Jor-El, Superman's father, when he was an aspiring scientist. When the space program was abolished after the destruction of the inhabited moon Wegthor, which had been caused by renegade scientist Jax-Ur, he attempted to take over Krypton. Zod created an army of robotic duplicates of himself, all bearing a resemblance to Bizarro. He was sentenced to exile in the Phantom Zone for his crimes. Zod was eventually released by Superboy when his term of imprisonment was up. However, he attempted to conquer Earth with the super powers gained under the yellow Sun. Zod was sent back into the Phantom Zone, from which he occasionally escapes to target Superman. EN CONSTRUCCION Información básica Nombre real Universo Videojuego(s) Primera aparición Creado por Afiliaciones Arma(s) Clase Habilidades Habilidades Interpretado por [Fuente] He appeared in front of a panel at the 2011 UCon @ UConn where he announced his candidacy for President of the United States. He returns in the 4th Year Anniversary film To Boldly Flee as one of the films main villains making his introduction at the end of part 2 having been sent by The Executor as Terl's new master and to keep him on schedule. He arrives through a door with smoke and a bright light behind him and commands Terl to kneel but Terl is confused commenting he must be foreign and that "Neil" is his name and that the way he points his finger down to kneel is his way of saying "Hello". In part 3 he commands Terl to transform the ship into a house to match the Critic which Terl believes is stupid but he does so anyway with the help of a simple "George Lucas-style wipe" as Zod puts Zod was a ruthless, arrogant and megalomaniacal criminal - sentenced to the Phantom Zone (along with his followers Non and Ursa) due to their crimes of insurrection and murder. The trio remain in the phantom zone until Superman - foiling the plot of terrorists who were planning to blow up Paris with a hydrogen bomb - launches the bomb into space to explode harmlessly. However, the shock waves of the bomb's explosion shatters the Phantom Zone and allows the three criminals to escape, with them soon gaining powers like Superman thanks to exposure from Earth's sun. In "Lethal Weapons", Zod and his gang, Ursa and Non, were seen in The Drunken Clam when Peter was getting Lois to fight off all the New Yorkers that were taking over Quahog. Often Peter started a fight by saying that their favorite sports teams sucked, and when he said "Krypton sucks", Zod and his gang attacked Peter. Lois threw all three of them into the Phantom Zone, and they drifted off into space like the first Superman movie. __FORCETOC__ Image:Help.png General Zod is a fictional character that appears in comic books published by DC Comics. The character first appeared in Adventure Comics #283 (April 1961), and was created by Robert Bernstein and George Papp.

This version of General Zod is based on the Smallville TV series (2001-??) as seen on the CW. - Go to the Smallville Wiki for more on General Zod Zod was born and raised on the planet Krypton. He eventually became the military leader for all forces on the planet; it was this power that turned him into a renegade leader who built up an army with the aim of using it to take over Krypton. He married a scientist named Faora, and the two saw it as their destiny to take over Krypton. They began their campaign and tried conceiving an heir. Discovering they were unable to have children, Zod and Faora took their DNA and fused it together with other violent Kryptonian life-forms, creating genetic matter that would become the "ultimate destroyer". When Jor-El created his own version of Dax-Ur's Brain InterActive Construct, Zod was able to corrupt its system, gaining an advantage in his war with the Science Council. He also collaborated with Zor-El, Jor-El's brother, and they began conquering the planet which led to its destruction. Zod gave the genetic matter, to Brainiac, who was able to attach it to Kal-El's ship which was set on a course for Earth. Before Krypton exploded, Zod and Faora were captured by the Science Council, who destroyed their physical bodies and placed their essences in the Phantom Zone; the only way either of them could escape was if they found other bodies to inhabit. During Dark Thursday, Zod's wraith was freed from the Phantom Zone and possessed the body of Lex Luthor, taking on his physical appearance. This version of General Zod is based on Superman (1978) and Superman (1980). General Zod appears in Superman and Superman II, portrayed by actor Terence Stamp as a pathologically arrogant and pompous aristocrat, almost bored with his incredible powers and disappointed with the ease of overtaking Earth.

General Zod is a Kryptonian, and a significant adversary to the House of El. __TOC__ In "Lethal Weapons", Zod and his gang, Ursa and Non, were seen in The Drunken Clam when Peter was getting Lois to fight off all the New Yorkers that were taking over Quahog. Often Peter started a fight by saying that their favorite sports teams sucked, and when he said "Krypton sucks", Zod and his gang attacked Peter. Lois threw all three of them into the Phantom Zone, and they drifted off into space like the first Superman movie. In a battle at the Fortress of Solitude in "The Cleveland-Loretta Quagmire", Superman pulls the "S" off of his chest and throws it at General Zod in a highly ineffective attack. Zod lives in Quagmire's new apartment building when he moves out of the neighborhood in "Hot Pocket-Dial" and complains that he is blocking Zod's "Trapezoid-shaped thing." General Zod is a fictional character that appears in comic books published by DC Comics. The character first appeared in Adventure Comics #283 (April 1961), and was created by Robert Bernstein and George Papp. Dru-Zod was a Silver Age character. __FORCETOC__ Image:Help.png He appeared in front of a panel at the 2011 UCon @ UConn where he announced his candidacy for President of the United States. In part 3 he commands Terl to transform the ship into a house to match the Critic which Terl believes is stupid but he does so anyway with the help of a simple "George Lucas-style wipe" as Zod puts it. The two later talk about each other's plans as well as insulting each other and Terl reveals he has a spy in the Critic's ranks (Mechakara) and declares the Critic will die at the hands of "Ferdinand Von Terl" prompting Zod to laugh about his sissy first name and tweet about it. Later they find the Critic's ship at Europa and fights with Terl for command of the ship, succeeding after stuffing Terl's face into the couch with a pillow and then the two are later seen at part 3's end on the bridge of their ship ready to fight the Critic. The battle is at first in their favor but the tables are later turned when their tactical weapons officer is killed and they are stuck trying to get their weapons back online. Eventually they do and capture the Snob and retreat. Later in the film they are contacted by the Executor who at this point been scared and turned the Snob to his side. Zod informs him the Death Bomb is nearly complete and the Executor tells them their work is finished and tells them to throw a big Hollywood Coke Party in celebration Zod being happy putting an ad on Craigslist for entertainment though Terl isn't happy. The party doesn't go as planned and a disappointed Zod leaves to go get Apples to Apples but is then ecstatic to see Ursa and Non arrive at the door (Actually Nostalgia Chick and Oancitizen in disguise) and asks them to sing. Nostalgia Chick and Zod sing together with Oancitizen (Who wanted to sing but couldn't because Non is supposed to be mute) giving the final note, blowing their cover. Zod orders the armada to fire on the USS Exit Strategy but is shocked when their armada destroys each other, Marzgurl and Angry Joe having invaded the ship and tampered with the controls. He then becomes frightened about them losing and believes he's having an asthma attack leaving Terl to take command and quote Shakespeare wrong again like he did in the previous battle with the USS Exit Strategy. Zod manages to calm down but is attacked by a vengeful Mechakara who has arrived on the ship to kill them for tricking him. The three then notice a torpedo coming towards them and Zod asks Terl if he has any Shakespeare quotes left but Terl says he doesn't and that it sucks to be them. The torpedo hits the ship causing it to set ablaze and crash into the Death Bomb, killing the Executor in the process. The three survive the crash but are injured as Zod points out the Executor's remains being spread all over the room. The three then hear a ticking sound seeing that Mechakara still has the bomb attached to him from earlier and that is ready to explode after SadPanda activates it. The three accepting their faith take turns in quoting "To be or not to be" before Mechakara explodes killing him, Zod and Terl as well as destroying the Death Bomb. However he has recently been revealed to have survived his death in To Boldly Flee as he broke into Chester's review station to review Man Of Steel being upset that he was not cast for the part instead seeing some other person play Zod who was nothing like him he thus ruined the movie and detailed what he did to do so such as breaking the wrist of the cinematographers to cause shaky cam, sucked away the actors acting abilities, beat the editor so he forgot what order he edited the film in and many other acts that ruined the film. In the end he decides that he's destroyed all credibility DC Comics once had and plans to move to Marvel and get a role in Avengers 2. He then does his signature command of telling people to kneel before he is interrupted when Chester arrives noticing the door was locked and he quickly flies through the ceiling leaving debris on the floor and Chester confused as to where it came from. General Zod, or (as his parents named him) Rufus T. Imprisoned for attempting to overthrow the inept Kryptonian hippy council, Zod (with comic sidekicks Ursa and Non) was banished into the Phantom Zone, which really constituted cruel and unusual punishment as those imprisoned were forced to watch this for eternity. In the meantime Superman, having landed on earth as all brawn and no brains, hurled a bunch of nukes into space while battling Lex Luthor in his superstar debut Superman: The Movie, thus shattering the incredibly weak Kryptonian locks holding Zod and company in. And just like that, the ill-tempered meter tall Terence Stamp lookalike was set upon on the path of evil. EN CONSTRUCCION Información básica Nombre real Universo Videojuego(s) Primera aparición Creado por Afiliaciones Arma(s) Clase Habilidades Habilidades Interpretado por [Fuente] Zod was a ruthless, arrogant and megalomaniacal criminal - sentenced to the Phantom Zone (along with his followers Non and Ursa) due to their crimes of insurrection and murder. After attacking human astronauts on the Moon and the small town of East Houston, Idaho (which they mistake as being capital city of "Planet Houston" due to NASA's transmissions), the three travel to the White House and force the President of the United States (E.G. Marshall) to kneel before him on behalf of the entire planet during an international television broadcast. When the President pleads for Superman to save the Earth, Zod demands that Superman come and "kneel before Zod!". Kent Clark and Lois see the news report, not long after kent has revealed his secret identity to Lois and given up his powers to have a 'normal' life with her, and so returns to the fortress. However, his old enemy Lex Luthor has escaped from prison and found the fortress first - learning of Superman's connection to Jor-El (Superman's father) and to Zod. Trying to get in Zod's favor, Luthor reveals to Zod about Superman being Jor-El's son of, "their jailer" and offers to lead him to the man of steel in exchange for control of Australia. The three Kryptonians form an alliance with Luthor and go to the offices of the Daily Planet, with Zod's lust for power been replaced by a desire for revenge. Superman returns - having regained his powers after reversing the procedure - and battles the trio throughout Metropolis. However, Zod learns of Superman's caring nature for humanity and uses it against him by attacking the civilians. Deciding the only way to stop Zod and the other criminals is to lead them to his fortress in the Arctic, Superman flies off. Zod and his followers set off in pursuit, taking both Lex (who is guiding them) and Lois (as a hostage) with them. Upon arrival, Zod declares Luthor has outlived his usefulness and plans to kill both him and Superman. Superman tries to get Luthor to lure the three into the crystal chamber to de-power them, but Luthor, eager to get back in Zod's favor, reveals the chamber's secret to the villains. Zod forces Superman to seemingly again undergo the process, only to realize too late that Superman, fully expecting Luthor's treachery, had already altered the process to expose everyone "outside" the chamber to the red light, removing the Kryptonian criminals' powers while leaving his own intact. Powerless, Zod was easily defeated and killed by Superman, with Non and Ursa been killed soon after.
