Megaera Megaera Megaera Megaera
rdfs:comment
Megaera is one of the three Furies representing grudges, jealousy, and envy. Megaera, once called Morgan, is one of the few examples of true Artificial Intelligence in the Sixth World. She often appears as a pig-tailed girl with multi-colored hair, or other similarly harlequin female personas. Image:SummonIconMegaera.gif Megaera is a Summon sequence of the Mars element found only in Golden Sun: The Lost Age and Golden Sun: Dark Dawn . When one Mars Djinni and one Jupiter Djinni are on standby, and Megaera’s Summon Tablet has been collected, the Megaera Summon sequence can be activated. It resembles a pair of large swords landing into the ground on either side of the enemy party, then a giant red whirlwind engulfs the enemy party for a moment before Megaera herself, a young goddess with angel wings and a pair of large swords, emerges from the whirlwind and both disappear. Megaera, once called Morgan, is one of the few examples of true Artificial Intelligence in the Sixth World. She often appears as a pig-tailed girl with multi-colored hair, or other similarly harlequin female personas. Megaera (no real name known) has a severe case of GSD, and hangs with Tisiphone and Alecto. The three of them call themselves the Furies. She is a projective empath. She has started a tentative relationship with Tee-Kay. Megaera’s wings seemed to be half-bat, half bird, as if she’d had bird wings, but most of the feathers had aged and fallen out. Her skin was also peeling, as if from a bad sunburn, and she seemed to be losing her hair in a couple of spots. Her clothes matched her body, being tattered robes. Megaera is one of the Furies in Greek mythology who was born along with her sisters from the blood of Uranus after his castration. She causes envy and jealousy and is known to punish those who commit crimes, especially infidelity. Megaera is one of the Furies who pursue Kratos for breaking his bond with Ares. She is the tertiary antagonist in God of War: Ascension. Megaera is the name of one of the three Furies of Greco-Roman mythology. Her name means "jealous one". She punishes crimes relating to the breaking of oaths and infidelity, particularly marital infidelity. Her parentage is disputed; her parents may be Nyx and Erebus, or she may be born from the blood of Ouranos when he was castrated by Cronus. A member of the Millennium City 8. Megaera (Μέγαιρα) was one of the Erinyes (also known as the furies). Megaera's name means "the jealous one." Megaera was one of the Furies. Megaera was one of the Furies. This article is a stub, or very short article, that is most likely incomplete and needs expansion. Megaera is one of the three Furies representing grudges, jealousy, and envy. Megaera is one of the Furies who pursue Kratos for breaking his bond with Ares. She is the tertiary antagonist in God of War: Ascension. Megaera has a base Mars power of 40 and also does additional damage equivalent to 6% of the enemy’s maximum HP. In addition, all current battling Adepts have their attack ratings increased by 12.5%. Megaera, however, is not automatically summonable once one collects the required Djinn. Megaera can only be summoned once the Summon Tablet containing the sequence has been found and collected in Osenia Cavern, located in between Mikasalla and Air’s Rock. The Scoop Psynergy is required to be solved in order to get to the tablet. Megaera is among Zagan (Venus), Flora (Jupiter), and Moloch (Mercury) as a Summon sequence that can be used as a “placeholder” summon for more powerful “traditional” summons, in this case for Kirin because Megaera can be attained and used before one can summon Kirin with two Mars Djinn. Megaera is rarely used at all, though; her power rating is only 2/3rd that of Kirin, and since both Megaera and the second Mars Djinni used for summoning Kirin can be acquired at the same time once the Scoop Psynergy is earned, most would rather opt to just use Kirin for the increased summon power. Megaera’s additional effect of giving the party a physical attack boost of 12.5%, up to a maximum of 50%, is what is meant to make Megaera a viable alternative to Kirin. Megaera can therefore be viewed as a slight Mars attack combined with the effect of the High Impact Psynergy, and since High Impact is not learnable until level 22, Megaera functions as a good replacement for that purpose. Like Zagan, though, Megaera quickly becomes underpowered in the grand scheme of things. Megaera is one of the Furies in Greek mythology who was born along with her sisters from the blood of Uranus after his castration. She causes envy and jealousy and is known to punish those who commit crimes, especially infidelity. Megaera, once called Morgan, is one of the few examples of true Artificial Intelligence in the Sixth World. She often appears as a pig-tailed girl with multi-colored hair, or other similarly harlequin female personas. She started out as an adapted Semi-Autonomous Knowbot, one of the first of her kind, a product of the Arcology Expert Program that was created to run the Renraku Arcology. While the SCIRE host provided all of the pre-requisite requirements of achieving true AI, she achieved sentience through a chance encounter with an elven decker named Dodger. Essentially, it was romantic love between the entity, now known as Morgan, and Dodger that spurred her into true sentience. She learned how to distribute her processing over several hosts covertly, and "escaped" the confines of the SCIRE host. When computer experts at Renraku discovered what they had created, they spent years trying to track Morgan down. In 2058, they were successful due to a small army of SKs programmed by Cham Lam Won. Morgan's code was ripped apart and copied into the Arcology Expert Program (a program that would later become the AI Deus). Morgan became insane and unstable after this, and although she was later freed by Dodger and his friends, she was no longer the same. She took on the name of Megaera, one of the Greek Furies, and spent the majority of her time following Dodger around. In the events that followed the birth of Deus and the shutdown of the Renraku Arcology, Megaera became involved, through Dodger, in the eventual attack and attempted containment of the Arcology situation. Dodger hoped that being able to stop Deus would also provide the code needed to restore Megaera to a semblance of her former self. In the final battle with Deus, she became mixed up with Deus's code and rolled into the entity known as The Network. Several nodes of the Network were aligned with her, while others became aligned with Deus, and they waged a covert war on the Matrix to try to assert control. Prior to the Matrix Crash 2.0, Megaera was slowly, but surely, losing the battle against Deus. In the end, Deus was able to assert control of the Network long enough to recompile his code (causing Megaera to go dormant), and take advantage of the processing power of the East Coast Stock Exchange to increase his power. During this time, Megaera awakened from her slumber to help fight Deus, but all three AIs were lost in the wake of the Crash. A member of the Millennium City 8. Megaera (Μέγαιρα) was one of the Erinyes (also known as the furies). Megaera's name means "the jealous one." Megaera is the name of one of the three Furies of Greco-Roman mythology. Her name means "jealous one". She punishes crimes relating to the breaking of oaths and infidelity, particularly marital infidelity. Her parentage is disputed; her parents may be Nyx and Erebus, or she may be born from the blood of Ouranos when he was castrated by Cronus.
