However, when Foreman told her that Jona had gotten iron toxicity from taking too many vitamin pills, she said she only gave Jona one a day. Foreman told her he believed her and found out Evan had given Jona the extra vitamins.

As a correspondent for the media outlet, MEL had made a name for herself as someone well-versed in the history of the Transformers and EDC. When it comes to scooping a story, she has no problem taking out her aggressions on her opponents or even fellow reporters at the REPUBLICAN. MEL has a real problem with authority, a personality trait that drives her to get at what’s hidden by the Powers that Be, but also limits her ability to accept help from potential allies.
Melinda, often known in full as Melinda the Mental Marvel, is the in-game creator of the Chip's Challenge clubhouse, and the president of the Bit Busters Club which Chip aspires to gain access to.

When Hope was born, Melinda gave her up to the Firelock Coven, due to herself being unsafe. This was because Melinda was being followed by hunters and knew that if she gave her child up to the Firelock Coven, she will be safe. A few days later, Melinda sent the Book of Shadows to the coven, so that Hope could learn about who she was and develop her powers. It is thought that Melinda's ancestors may of possessed the same power that her daughter has, or a similar one, so spells and potions were added in the book.

He then drugs Francine's drink and arranges it so that, when she wakes up the next morning, she is holding a bloody knife near Melinda's dead body. Francine, horrified that she killed Melinda, at first wants to turn herself into the police; Stan dissuades her, and disposes of Melinda's body in a woodchipper. Horrified at the events, Francine leaves and moves to India explaining that to amend for her crime she feels the need to help others and find redemption. Stan eventually comes clean, leaving Francine very angry with him. Melinda is voiced by Ally Walker.
