Once the fnurdles eeble the shoe tree sonk, sjink shall I bee. Heehee! For the tenteeth McGarble on the M5 motorway of Sydney! It's all falling down. Insanity is the state of being insane. Also known as madness. The Act Art of Being Mad. Off your rocker. Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs. Loony. Crackers. Bananas. A few bricks shy of a load. Out of one's ever-loving mind. A frequently-cited statistic claims that ninety percent of all writers will go mad at some point in their lives. Insanity is an option open to gamesmasters which enables the players to further develop the personalities of their characters. The idea is to simulate the stresses and mental trauma suffered by characters during their adventures, stresses which may, over time, lead to rather odd character traits. These traits may manifest themselves as neuroses of various kinds, more severe mental illnesses, drug or alcohol dependency, or total inability to cope. To start with, gamesmasters have enough on their hands without needing the added complications of enforcing these factors on their players. The players, too, will need to establish what is the game norm before they will be able to go off into the abnormal. These Insanity rules are therefore recommended only for more experienced gamers. It is time to do some writing or, at least, that's the plan. I don't know why it's time to do some writing, but when I woke up today I knew it to be the case, which is why I just bought myself a new composition pad. I'm using a pen, specifically the pen that I tend to use for my little snippets of wisdom (if you want to call it that). Now, the use of a pen is not my standard far as I far prefer the feel and lines of a pencil, especially a good mechanical pencil. I spent a very long time quite attached to the Pentel P205 and went through about 3 in twice as many years. Worth noting is that the 5 in the model number is indicative of the lead thickness, .5mm, and that P207, P209 and others exist. Some people get very particular about odd things, .5mm pencil lead and myself are a good example. It's not terribly worth going into, the main point is that my use of a pen is nonstandard. So, you might ask why I would use a pen to write when I so prefer pencils. The answer turns out to be one of self direction. If I write with a pen and do not allow myself to cross words out, every word that I write is a bridge that has forever burned behind me. The more things that are going on in the world around you, the harder it becomes to focus on any given one. Distraction is a plague, which is thoroughly dificult to evade. The easier the tools one has, the easier it is to allow unskilled operators. Unskilled operators tend to work faster. While one's usual natural tendency converges toward chasing rainbows and automobiles, a true philanthropist will choose the harder option, that is, extravagating sensetive whims in favor of the self-contradictory aspects of life. A reasonable way to approach that would be smoothly sliding from giant turtles into the abyss of the large swamps, that are, the rootless bases of existence. A much more controversial method consists of approaching most bats with that somewhat amusing affirmation of vigilance over oneself, that is not that controversial considering bats eat mostly raw donuts and fast food. An established dictator would prefer softer pillows, though, according to the will of the roller-blade skyscrapers, or better, looking behind the highest forms of abstractive reductionism. As a general rule, most will prefer copper when engaging in the exploitation of imitative supermarkets and quantitative purification of cheese-cakes. Approaching a general method for the extermination of subordinative actions is one truly strong criterion for the possessiveness over one's inner group mechanisms. I also think that affectionate normativeness is bound to become a somewhat unindustrialized simplification of such other realms. Don't you agree? But why such a malicious simplification of truth? Isn't it obedience to the ruling of reductionist dictators? of free-men and pillow imitators? of general methods to the unindustrialized extermination of affectionate normativeness? The answer must be purified, converged, exploited, abstracted and affirmed, as a possessed bat roller-blading in a skyscraper. The truly strong criterion is in the large swamps! that is, in the sensitive whims produced by the giant turtles' group mechanisms! Existence precedes subordinative actions! as any true philanthropist will affirm! vigilance is only in the vision of the sliding supermarkets! They had apparently found a way to become true missionaries. They held on to their beliefs but were very much capable to do that without causing to much chaos. This was not the Shirah she once knew. That old Shirah was gone. What was left was nothing. A hollow carcass which forgot to die that night she was attacked. Her mind was filled with darkness. Darkness that changed every good word into a pool of hate. And Shirah lavished herself with that hate. There were rules. Shirah knew that. Rules set up by the High Emissary brother Habeus. Rules she had to follow out of respect for her superiors. But it was hard for her. In every shadow on every corner of the street she saw an enemy. People she didn’t trust and in her feeble mind she was beginning to see things. Things that weren’t true. People talking in the street would seem to Shirah like they were looking at her. Grinning at her. Knowing her. They would become for Shirah her attackers or people knowing them. One day she felt certain she saw Einor. She chased him, sword drawn. Shirah managed to catch him and threw him on the street thrusting her sword towards him, her body full of adrenaline. Just in time she saw her mistake. The goal of the "Insanity" timeline is trying to be as entertaining and illogical as possible, without crossing the ASB line. Therefore to all you keen observer of event possibility, you have no usable argument since the timeline is ridiculous.
