Raise Them Bones is a Swamp Thing storyline published as part of The New 52. Following the timeline reboot in Flashpoint, it establishes his continuity in the DCnU. It's the debut arc of Scott Snyder and Yanick Paquette on their Swamp Thing volume. Prior to Brightest Day the Swamp Thing mythos had been part of the unofficial Vertigo Universe, his stories published under the Vertigo Comics imprint. He was reintroduced when the Entity resurrected his human body to fight the Dark Avatar. His position in the mainstream DC Universe was solidified in a three-part miniseries. Flashpoint established that the DCU had been merged with the Vertigo and Wildstorm Universe, officially returning his mythos to regular continuity.
