- Ophidian is a professional wrestler best known for performing with CHIKARA. He was previously a member of the The Osirian Portal stable along with his former partners Amasis and Hieracon. His gimmick is an anthropomorphic Egyptian cobra, which is reflected in his in-ring gear and cobra head mask as well as his mannerisms and speech. Ophidian currently serves as an assistant trainer at The Wrestle Factory, operated by Chikara founder Mike Quackenbush.
- Ophidians resemble snakes and carry pointed staves. When attacking, they fire a chain of three purple shots from their staff, pause, and then fire a more powerful red fireball. Description from the manual: The Ophidians slither in the darkest chambers of the Dome of D'sparil and protect their lairs with deadly, energy tossing tridents.
- Ophidian is the name for a belt in the video game No More Heroes. After ranking fifth in the United Assassins Association, it can be purchased from Area 51 for LB$12,800.
- Ophidian was a Silurian city that developed in an alternate timeline created by the Monk in which the Third Doctor was killed in Wenley Moor during the awakening of the Earth Reptiles. With the Doctor's death, the Silurians and the Sea Devils rose from hibernation to become the dominant species on the planet. Over the next twenty years, they began the slow process of terraforming the world back to its original condition during the Earth Reptiles' original rule. This saw the reintroduction of dinosaurs into the ecosystem and the planet's cities overrun by jungle as well as humankind being driven to the brink of extinction. Once they had completed this work, the Silurians created the new capital city of Earth, which was called Ophidian and was located in Africa.
