Operation Blue Room (also called the Bolian Operation) was a Starfleet offensive to drive the Dominion from back from its position close to the Bolarus system. (LUG RPG: The Dominion War Sourcebook: The Fires of Armageddon) The operation was the third assault on the Dominion forces. The first had ground their advance to a standstill in the Kumarek system, which the Federation and Klingons successfully managed to bottle up. The second assault had been a costly failure, which had also cost it the life of Admiral Urosg Vharr.

abstract
  • Operation Blue Room (also called the Bolian Operation) was a Starfleet offensive to drive the Dominion from back from its position close to the Bolarus system. Under the command of Admiral Mitchell Halliwell the force assaulted the Dominion's positions from multiple strike points. Four hours into the battle it was still undecided, however when news reached the Dominion fleet that a fresh supply convoy to the fleet had been destroyed by Klingon Birds-of-Prey the commanding officer decided to retreat the Dominion forces, rather then risk been trapping in hostile territory without sufficient supplies of Ketracel-white. The Dominion forces' retreat handed the battle to the allied forces. This also allowed for the defenses near Bolius IX to be strengthened.
