Ashford replaced Kendra Kassebaum as Glinda in the Broadway production of Wicked on October 9, 2007. She left the Broadway company on May 11, 2008. Ashford then transferred to the Chicago production, where she replaced Kate Fahrner as Glinda on June 3, 2008. Annaleigh closed the Chicago production opposite Dee Roscioli, on January 25, 2009.
