Dawn Soderstrom was an editor at the University of California Press. A landmark in her career was UCLA Professor Frank Perrin's treatise on industrial espionage, Spy by Wire, which became a surprise best seller. The book's author also ran off with Dawn, abandoning his wife Nicole Gunther and children Kimberley and Justin.
