The Troll Bride (Tilda Arvidsen-duChantraine aka "Rusty") is a supervillain. She's Nephandus' mother. The Hexmaster is her husband. Tilda is a tall, nordic blonde woman with a high amount of Trow blood. She's been around for centuries and maintained her power by marrying men and then devouring them. Marcel St.Michel-duChantraine, the Hexmaster, married her most recently and included a pact that she would never try to harm or act against him in anyway. As a wedding gift, he gave her a pair of rings which would allow her to get the same sustenance out of a one night stand that she would from a legitimate marriage. Unfortunately for her, the Green Witch has her wedding rings in her trophy vault.

Apparently, she went by the name Eiserne Jungfrau(Iron Maiden, hence "Rusty") at some point, possibly during WWII, and fought with Headmistress Carson in one of Carson's many aliases. Tilda is an arrogant woman with centuries of knowledge but little to no wisdom. In recent years, she's fallen into the rut of letting her husband do all the thinking. After an incident in Barcelona, the Troll Bride has a reputation for using forged documents. She makes an attempt to claim Eldritch as her property and, by extension, that she has rights to every item that Eldritch, Seraphim and Silver have, as a team, created. During the course of this attempt, she runs afoul of Jadis and gets distracted into a wild goose chase that ends with her accusing Chaka of theft and subsequently getting tossed around like a ragdoll. This brought the whole affair to Carson's attention. Chaka's "punishment" for this was dropped to a detention due to such considerations as: breaking into Chaka's locker, wrongfully accusing her of theft, assaulting her, using the "N" word and the possibility of (Tilda having) rabies. She has a spotty claim to the title of "Countess Schwartzborg."
