Mary Maloney is the main protagonist of the story "Lamb to the Slaughter" by Roald Dahl. In the story she murders her husband Patrick Maloney with a leg of lamb after he returned from his job as a detective. He then gives her information (which is disclosed to the readers) which explained why he was acting weirdly. She then gets away with the murder, after she cooked the lamb leg and fed it to the no longer suspicious police officers.
