| - Merge (合体, Gattai) is a Magic in which allows a family of individuals to merge into one being, resulting in achieving a new form.

- As of the 1.36.11 patch there is no longer the ability to merge items into a set box. There are still set boxes in the game, but you can no longer create them. Merging allows a player to combine all pieces of an Equipment Set into a compact Set Box, granting better trade convenience and allowing for more space. To Merge an Equipment Set, all the Set items must be in the inventory, then select the cross icon next to the Set Bonus icon on any of the Set items.

- A crew merge combines two crews by disbanding one crew (the offering crew) and transferring all its members into another (the receiving crew). To propose a merger, go to the crew page, and press the Merge Crew button. In the resulting page, the player proposing the merger enters the name of the crew into which they will be merging and a reason, if needed or desired. Image:Crew management panel.png
- A merge (referred to as a merger in early seasons) is the coming together of the two or more competing tribes into a single tribe. This means that the tribes will now live as one in one camp until the end of the game (Day 39 in most seasons and Day 42 in The Australian Outback). This also signals the game's halfway point and typically is near the start of the jury phase.
- Merge is the descendant of a magician and sorceress from the long past. The magician created a virus which would melt puns and the antidote which would cure the virus. He gave the antidote to the sorceress as an engagement gift. The antidote passed down through the family, and Merge was the last to have it. Merge is the complete form of five sisters: Black, Blue, Brown, Red, and Yellow. Their names match their long hair. When the five are apart, their hair seeks out the hair of the others so they can form Merge. Merge had the antidote in her hair.
