  • Steve creates a time traveling machine on his wrist to travel back into time. He and Carl travel back to the time he first bought the house. Despite Steve's warning not to mess around with the past by tampering with it, Carl leaves a note to invest in future stocks. When they return to the present, both are shocked to find out that Carl is the richest man in the world worth $247 billion. However, his tampering with the past came with a price when he learns that he hasn't been close to Estelle in years and that Harriette's leaving him because he was too busy with making money to care about having children.

  • Father Time is usually depicted as an elderly bearded man, dressed in a robe and carrying a scythe and an hourglass or other timekeeping devices (which represent time's constant one-way movement, and more generally and abstractly, entropy). Around New Year's Eve many editorial cartoons use the convenient trope of Father Time as the personification of the previous year (or "the Old Year") who typically "hands over" the duties of time to the equally allegorical Baby New Year (or "the New Year") or who otherwise characterizes the preceding year.
  • Father Time was the "giant of giants" who once ruled a kingdom in Overland, who slept throughout most of Narnia's history in an enchanted sleep in Underland, and who helped bring about the end of Narnia.
  • Father Time is a godlike being associated with the anthropomorphic personifications of the years, perhaps himself the personification of time. The Fate Spider is also responsible to him, and Uncle Time is his brother. He appears as a giant floating head or disembodied narration or dialogue, and seems to possess knowledge about various things beyond what a normal person could be expected to have access to. He only cares about time running smoothly; other than that, he is indifferent, except towards the Dutch, whom he dislikes.
  • Performer(s) Appeared in Father Time is a mythical figure who is usually depicted as an elderly bearded man, somewhat worse for wear, dressed in a robe, carrying a scythe and an hourglass or other timekeeping device (which represents time's constant one-way movement, and more generally and abstractly, entropy). This image derives from several sources, including the Grim Reaper and Chronos, the Greek god Lord of time in Greek mythology. Around New Year's Eve, many editorial cartoons use the convenient trope of Father Time as the personification of the previous year (or "the Old Year") who typically "hands over" the duties of time to the equally allegorical Baby New Year (or "the New Year") who otherwise characterizes the preceding year.
  • Father Time appeared in the episode, "It's Time." He is a being constructed completely of clocks and wears a purple hat. He was angry that Mordecai was the one microwaving all of his clocks or "limbs." He has a very deep voice, and is able to materialize wherever he pleases. All of his possessions are invisible, and he got mad at Mordecai for "wrecking his living room," which was also invisible. He forces Mordecai to reflect on his jealousy to Rigby; at first, he said that Mordecai must stay at the end of time forever but then decides that house guests really annoy him and he lets Mordecai start over again. He tells Mordecai to ride the "time pony" back to the present, and to get out of his dimension. He also appears in Regular show : The Movie as the guy working in the gas station where h
  • Father Time is a character that has appeared in the Smurfs cartoon show from Season 3's "No Time For Smurfs" to Season 9's "The Smurfs That Time Forgot". He is an elderly figure who has power and control over time, if not complete control. He wears a long grey beard, is dressed a long robe, and carries a scythe in his hand, which can open up tears in the fabric of space and time by careless people wielding it. He has an underground workshop usually accessible from a cave entrance, in which he has all sorts of devices and apparatuses that control elements of time. One of these devices, a backwards-running grandfather clock, had turned three adult Smurfs into young Smurflings.
  • When he appears, he will be standing on the sidewalk, so a selectable Sim will need to call him over. The only interactions available for Father Time are talk and call over, which will be available no matter how close a Sim is to him. Around midnight, (12 AM), he will start making a ruckus, which all the Sims at the party will join, and will then transform into Toddler New Year.
