- Fire Temple is a multiplayer map in Turok: Rage Wars.
- It is the first instance that drops Fabled class weapons. It is an excellent place for players between level 30-40 to gain experience (mainly from related quests) and good drops.
- The Fire Temple was an upcoming Ninjago-themed dungeon in LEGO Universe. Little is known about it, aside from the fact that Lord Garmadon was going to be the boss. Enemies would include the Bone Vulture, the Bone Beetle and the Underhand. Other unreleased dungeons include the Earth Gauntlet, Ninjago Lightning Dungeon, and Ninjago Ice Dungeon.
- The Fire Temple was originally founded on Crescent Island as a refuge for the Fire Sages, the Fire Nation's religious authority, on the outermost island of the Fire Nation archipelago. Its axis was built in such a way that the light of the sun on the solstices and equinoxes would penetrate the sanctuary and illuminate the eyes of Avatar Roku's statue. In 99 AG, the temple was destroyed again when Avatar Roku manifested himself through Aang's body to defeat the Fire Nation soldiers stationed outside the sanctuary.
- The Fire Temple is the 5th dungeon in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and the second one he must traverse through as an Adult. This temple is found at the inside of Death Mountain. The third sage, Darunia, can be awoken from within this temple but not until after the temples boss is defeated. To gain entrance into the Fire Temple Link must have the Hookshot that he obtains from the Kakariko Graveyard and he must have the Goron's Tunic that he can obtain from Link the Goron, son of Darunia. Link the Goron will tell Link that Ganondorf to keep other races from trying to rise up against him was going to make an example of the Gorons by feeding them to the newly reincarnated Volvagia. The Gorons were locked away into the Fire Temple where they were awaiting their death when Link shows up.
- A fire temple in Zoroastrianism is the place of worship for Zoroastrians. Although Zoroastrians revere fire in any form, the temple fire is not literally for the reverence of fire: In the Zoroastrian religion, fire (see Atar), together with clean water (see Aban), is an agent of ritual purity. Clean, white "ash for the purification ceremonies [is] regarded as the basis of ritual life," which, "are essentially the rites proper to the tending of a domestic fire, for the temple [fire] is that of the hearth fire raised to a new solemnity" (Boyce, 1975:455).
- The monks were led by former Twelve Guardian Ninja member, Chiriku. The Temple was located in an area surrounded by forests and was said to overflow with nature. In the anime, the temple was surrounded on three sides by mountains and a large field to the south. The graves of four of the Twelve Guardian Ninja lie in each of the cardinal directions with the temple in the centre.
- The Fire Temple is one of the four sub-temples of every Living Circle temple. Its dedicates wear red robes showing their dedication to the gods of fire, Shurri Firesword and Hakkoi the Smith. In Winding Circle--and probably other temples of the Living Circle religion--the Fire Temple is situated in the south of the temple grounds. First Dedicate of Winding Circle's Fire Temple in 1035 KF is Skyfire.
- The grounds of the monastery are surrounded by, under normal circumstances, impenetrable Sealed Iron Gates that considering the Manga and the Anime have only been breached twice. The first was when Sora first unleashed his demon fox's chakra after it was first sealed into him as a child and the second was when Kakuzu used his Iron Body technique to knock the doors down in one punch. There are many statues and images of Tengu and Yamabushi including two statues on either side of the front gates. This is significant as in legend Tengu and Yamabushi taught humans the arts of Ninjutsu. The monks have access to a skill known as "Theurgical Enlightenment" or "Gift of the Gods".
