- Honor Guard was a crane Clan feat of those who possessed indefatigable vigilance in the face of distractions.
- Honor Guard is a two-person character study about a pair of young U.S. soldiers who have served in Iraq, but are now in the United States. One of them, Dean (played by Scott Edward Haugen), is returning to the Middle East voluntarily to serve a second tour of duty, while his counterpart, Carl (played by Chris Herner), tries to talk him out of risking his life for a cause he himself feels is a false, merciless one.
- Honor Guards are level 85 Elite guards who serve as the personal guard of Chieftain Baine Bloodhoof in the tauren city of Thunder Bluff. For some reason all are male and have black horns and fur. However they may not be connected to the Grimtotem tribe as they were not updated with body paint in Patch 3.3. See List of Thunder Bluff NPCs.
- Honor Guards sind die Pets von entweder einem Ankari-Typ General (General - Ankari'Khaz, dem Boss der Boden-Attacke) oder einem Ankari-Typ Admiral (Fleet Admiral - Ankari'Khazoh, dem Boss im Schiff selbst.). Generell spawnen die Aliens vom Typ Ankari 2 Pets, bei normalen Mobs und "kleineren" Bossen auf dem Schiff sind das die kleine Spinnen genannt Zix, bei General und Admiral eben die Honor Guards. Wie es mit NPC Pets so ist, spawnt der "Pet-Master" getötete Pets innerhalb kürzester Zeit nach, so auch die Honor Guards. Im Gegensatz zu den Zix kommen Honor Guards meines Wissens nur als Pets vor.

(TOS: "The Savage Curtain" ) In 2284, an honor guard stood by while Captain Spock's body was fired into space. (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan) In 2376, an honor guard stood by while Lieutenant John Kelly's body was fired into space. (VOY: "One Small Step")
- An honor guard was martial protection given to important ambassadors and politicians on diplomatic missions.
- Honor Guards represent a middle-wieght class of Vaul forces. Similar to Terran Mercenaries, they are not as powerful as Hero-class units but are much stronger than standard ones. Often upgraded by Operators or Sovereigns, Honor Guards have greater processing power for their A.I.s combat functions (Star Wars: B2 super battle droid). This is necessary in order to inflict maximum damage to targets while maintaining Null Armor.
- The Honor Guard were first created during the Mythic Age when the rebel band known as the Hand of Flame were recruited by Kahless the Unforgettable in his battle against the tyrant Molor. The leaders of the group; namely O'gat, Kollus and To'Kar were given the task of training Kahless's army. The exact relation between the Honor Guard and the Yan-Isleth (which has a similar function) -- even as to whether they are truly separate organizations -- has been left unspecified.
