The people of Glacia are typically fair in coloring, having light skin and often blonde hair. At the begining of Heir to the Shadows, this territory is led by a male council which is in turn led by Karla's uncle Hobart. Towards the end of the book however, Karla takes control of the Territory after her Offering to the Darkness, and banishes her uncle.
- Glacia was a New Covenant colony within the Eros System. The planet consists of large frozen oceans, large islands covered in ice and snow. The moon of Glacia known as Di'aira, is close enough to the planet to make tides shift at a dangerous level for four hours out of the day. The atmospheric conditions are stable enough for humans, and Unggoy to breath without major , (though the latter must have at least one hour of methane breathing treatments, which usually means the Unggoy wear their body armors outside of their living quarters).Glacia was the first colony to actually harbor both Humans, Sangheili, and Unggoy. Of course the population is unbalanced due to the fact Unggoy breed extremely fast.
- Glacia is a NPC ally you can find during the mission Save captured psychics from Lady Grey (CoH and CoV, levels 45 - 50). She is one of the survivors of the legendary Omega Team. She will have been captured by the Rikti and is in need of a rescue when you find her, and must be freed so she can help you. Once free, she will follow you and will attack any Rikti in her aggro range. She must be escorted to the mission exit and must survive, so be careful. Once she is free, an ambush consisting of two waves of Rikti will attack her.
- Glacia is a medium sized, mostly developed, and aging nation at 518 days old with citizens primarily of Spanish ethnicity whose religion is Sikhism. Its technology is first rate and its citizens marvel at the astonishing advancements within their nation. Its citizens pay extremely high taxes and many despise their government as a result. The citizens of Glacia work diligently to produce Water and Lumber as tradable resources for their nation. It is a mostly neutral country when it comes to foreign affairs. It will usually only attack another nation if attacked first. It believes nuclear weapons are necessary for the security of its people. Plans are on the way within Glacia to open new rehabilitation centers across the nation and educate its citizens of the dangers of drug use. Glacia does
