- Minjo are electric verisons of a regular Jinjo and in Banjo-Tooie they were first introduced as enemies. When the player gets near one, it starts running toward and start saying "grrr". These enemies are usually found in open areas while Jinjos are on hard-to reach areas, implying a hint which is a Jinjo and which is a Minjo.

- Minjos are the arch-enemies of the Jinjos, and, whether by coincidence or some kind of spell, look exactly like them. First appearing in Witchyworld, Minjos will imitate Jinjos from a distance, waving their arms and calling for help, but will spring into action when Banjo and/or Kazooie approach, growling and chasing after them while giving off yellow sparks. Because of their small size and high speed, they can be hard to avoid and even harder to attack, but a well-aimed Rat-a-tat Rap will dispatch them with a single hit, with rolling being completely ineffective. The player can also distinguish Minjos from Jinjos simply by firing eggs at them from a distance; if the eggs hit and damage the creature, then it is a Minjo. Man findet sie als erstes im Hexhexpark, wo sie die Bewegungen eines Jinjos exakt kopieren. Sollten sich Banjo oder Kazooie ihm jedoch nähern, greift der Minjo sie an. Da sie relativ schnell sind, können sie ziemlich schnell viel Schaden anrichten. Ein gezielter Schnabelsprung kann sie jedoch besiegen. Danach sind sie in allen späteren Welten auch aufzufinden, ebenso wie in späteren Bereichen im Hexoland. Minjos tauchen außerdem auch in Banjo-Kazooie: Schraube Locker auf. Hat man einen Jinjo aus dem Gefängnis befreit und in sein Haus zurückgebracht, taucht nun in der Nähe des Gefängnisses ein Minjo auf. Diesen kann man nun einsperren und man bekommt von Pikelet einige Noten. In diesem Spiel sehen sie jedoch nicht mehr exakt so aus, wie die Jinjos: Sie tragen nun Gefängnis-Klamotten, haben spitze Zähne und rote Augen. Außerdem tragen sie Handschellen und haben einen Ohrring. Minjos kann man leicht entdecken, da sie, wenn man in der Nähe ist, lautstark lachen und knurren.

One appears when a Jinjo is gotten from prison, a Minjo must be exchanged in position back into prison in Showdown Town. Pikelet gives Banjo and Kazooie some Musical Notes when doing so. They are also remodeled with a demonic smile and red eyes along with all being dark purple with prison clothing and handcuffs on them.
