- Quote is the main protagonist and the playable character of Cave Story. He is a robot designed with the task of eradicating the darkness within the depths of The Island. At the beginning of the game's events, he wakes up in a small cave, having no memory of his past. After wandering around, he comes across Mimiga Village, where he gets sucked into the conflict stirred up by The Doctor, who has some tie-ins with his past. The game follows his pursuit to resolve this conflict and put an end to his evildoings.

Multiplied Punch- Pac-Man gets a clone and it punches the opponent. This is used by pressing A and B at the same time. Power Pellet- Pac-Man's final smash occurs by eating a power pellet, making the opponent(s) blue. He can chase the opponent, chomp them, and make a combo with it. The 200,400,800,and 1,600 thing appears by making the combo.This move kills opponents in one hit. Players can try their best to dodge this move. This final smash is used by getting a smash ball, and then pressing B. Misc.: Entrance: How he appears in the Pac-Man games. Taunts: Standard- Spins around and then puts up his fist. Side- Jumps up and down 3 times. Down- Does 3 punches. (this does not affect opponent in any way) Stage- Like the game Pac-Man. Music- Cool Pac-Man theme. Victory: Win- Does the standard taunt. Lose- Death pose. Victory Music- The theme it plays after you beat 2 levels.

Due to this fact, he is capable of withstanding huge amounts of damage if he has acquired sufficient Life Capsules, which increase his maximum durability. He is also highly skilled in armed combat and has the ability to wield a wide arsenal of weapons, from swords and guns to anti-material weaponry without any special training.
