abstract	Christiaan van Rensberg was the 5th Governor-General of Greater Hulstria and former leader of the Hulstrian Nationalist Party. Prior serving as Governor-General, Rensberg was the Minister of Finance from 2653 to 2659, and from 2662 to 2664. A member of the Rensberg political family, Christiaan is considered to be one of the last strong leaders of the Hulstrian Nationalist Party before its collapse in the 2710s. Christiaan van Rensberg's son Willem would go onto serve as Governor-General of Greater Hulstria as well from 2702 to 2711 but his administration was uneventful; despite his status, Willem was not able to prevent the end of the HNP.
