Franklin Howard Roderick was a prime engineer behind the "Central Deal", an ambitious series of economic and administrative reforms led by the Fascist Authority Party and the Hulstrian Labor Party. In the early 2680s when his older brother Spenzer Roderick Jr surcombed to sickness, Franklin assumed leadership of the party while Spenzer Roderick Jr was in the hospital though never formally served the Chairman of the Fascist Authority Party. Franklin had once already served as the acting Chairman years earlier when his older brother attended an international conference in Heinrichgrad, Trigunia. In 2687 Franklin stepped down from his position when he announced his retirement from political life and was succeeded by Aleksandr Evgeni.
