Mii Athlete takes out a baseball and winds back to pitch it. Using a smash input will throw a fastball, dealing high damage while also getting high speed and range. Using a regular input will throw a curveball, which is slower and deals less damage but has less starting lag. Inputting a double tap will result in pitching a screwball, which is the slowest of all the pitches but carries opponents with it, hitting them multiple times. Finally, there is the splitter ball, which is pitched by pressing A immediately after pressing B; the splitter ball has the highest starting lag of all of the pitches but can break shields in a single hit.
