Notes
  • This is one of the two life draining spells in the warlock's arsenal. Drain spells don't get their damage reduced by armor, which is a great advantage. Using this spell when you are at full Health is useless as it will drain 0 hp. It can be recognized as a red mist that flows upwards from an enemy and downwards to the warlock. Documented changes *Version 0.9.20 : Damage is now limited by the amount of hp the caster is missing.

  • Vampedia Entry 1 Renjie Zhang History of the world encompasses stories of unique cultures and their belief in vampires. Here is a common belief among the cultures and their understanding on vampires. They have an incarnation of vampires as creatures that cause plagues and premature deaths in the society. Evidently, vampires are creatures that not only haunt single individuals but also hunt them from the society with the aim of eradicating them. To counter this problem, brave people always come to the rescue of the community members through a horrific and intense fight against the vampires. This paper will review different vampire stories to come up with a vampire encyclopedia. Death at the wedding presents various characteristics of vampires. In this regard, there is a soldier that becomes the village hero after an encounter with a sorcerer. Just like other vampire stories, the witch acts outrageously at a wedding ceremony by collecting blood of the bride and groom. He is as cunning as other vampires because he reveals his secret to the soldier and because the soldier knows all his secrets, he is determined to kill him. The village hero is not only healthy but also brave enough to counter the vampire. As usual, such heroes narrowly escape the wrath of monsters after which they offer the necessary solution to the members. In this case, the soldier returns with the village members and cremates the sorcerer. The Vampire by Dr. John Polidori is another fascinating tale that reveals threatening nature of a great vampire (Polidori, 2001). As earlier mentioned, vampires are closely linked with blood. Most of them feed on blood just as a respectable character. The Vampire rightfully portrays this aspect. At the same time, most of the vampires are nocturnal. They are very active at night and unable to undertake their despicable act during the day. It is a wonder how vampires live in disguise. Many a time, the community members fail to realize that dreadful beings are in their midst and are responsible for the deaths of the community members. The vampires structure their acts and make it hard for the average person to suspect them. In general, other scholars refer to vampires as bloodthirsty monsters with ill motives (Bealer, 2011). They intend to cause harm to the community members deliberately. Characteristically, the zombies or monsters do all it takes to escape. They leave evidence of their action like material remains, but they are always missing. Again, the vampires have cultural bodies and come into the scene during particular cultural moments. They signal an impending danger or crisis in the community. They dwell among ordinary individual in different flesh and resist as they evade any form of capture. Vampires undertake illegal practices in the society. Members of the community are always adversely affected by the actions of the zombies or monsters. Ironically, the vampires are members of the community. They come in the form of individuals’ children, parents, relatives or community leaders like The Story of Dracula (Senf, 1982), and compelled by their new nature to undertake despicable acts. Once fed, the user can use the energy for a variety of powers, such as strength, speed, and healing and sustaining oneself. After users have fed on their victims, the victims are left paralyzed for a short amount of time. * Phobic Vampirism- ability to absorb energy from fears and negative thoughts, and perhaps convert it into physical strength.
