It is a major threat because of its powerful physical attack, which has a high chance of inflicting both Confuse and/or Venom on one of the party members. The most effective way to defeat Devil's Bloom is to attack with Fire spells. It is best to have the Basuna spell up to at least level 6 before entering the Mysidian Tower in order to counteract the Confuse status.
